Yep, I recommend getting at least two extra wire receptacles since they're pretty finicky to crimp - the wire's resistor is honestly a ridiculously large gauge. I ended up trimming some of the stranded pairs down to reduce the thickness for a better crimp. Good call mentioning the male...

How are you mating those wires with the Tesla’s harness? I was hoping to hook the resistor up to the abstract ocean isolators so it uses the same connector, but it seem like I’m missing something (like a wire receptacle: 1718762-1 : AMP MCON, RECEPTACLE AND TAB ). Fair enough. Is there any downside of overrating the wattage and getting one of the many 25w 4ohm resistors on Amazon like this one? They come with bulky metal heat sinks, but I suspect that wouldn’t really matter much.

After getting homelink installed, I raised my garage door sensors to the furthest protruding point on the bumper so there's absolutely no possibility the garage scrapes the car. Probably not the safest thing in the world, but we have no small children or pets that could be crushed.

Will the service center leave the front license plate mount off if requested? I don't have front plates on any of my cars and won't have one on the Tesla I'm picking up this week either. I live in California and have never had a problem.

Just confirmed with Tesla - my VIN 337xxx was born today and has HW3. I'm a very happy camper! Hopefully everyone else gets their VINs by Monday!

I have the exact same config and the exact same VIN. Tesla VINs are not sequential so I think ours are probably fresh builds. If you get in touch with an advisor soon, ask them about build date and HW3 just to confirm.
