You are incorrect on the lfp. There were some 253 mi range lfp sr+ released in late 2021, these had less range than the 2022 lfp (rwd) but are highly sought after because they have the performance motor. It's faster than the nca sr+ and much faster than the 2022+ lfp.

I'm not sure this would help much. The RWD Model 3 is really well balanced front to rear. Adding weight to the back is for RWD cars that have a heavy motor up front and little in the rear. We don't really have that issue on the Model 3 RWD.

I've had the SR and SR+ in PA. Ground clearance is similar to many cars (5.5"). For example, I think the 2020 Corolla is 5.1", 2020 Camry is 5.7". So that is not a unique problem with the Tesla. It's RWD but there is no engine weight up front so imo it's better than many RWD cars in the snow...

It is not. Look at your monroney sticker. It says 262.

All 262mi listed sr+ should be lfp. I think unless you ordered custom before Sept or August, you likely are getting lfp. Most non demo inventory ones I've seen since August appear to be lfp.

262mi sr+ are lfp not nca.... it's 262 on the monroney sticker even though most of us still showing 253 on the car. 263mi is the nca battery. Real verification is the weight but all indication (including my monroney page) is that 262/253mi is lfp and 263 is nca... on 18 inch aero.

Lfp sr+ has performance rear motor. Some believe this is why 0to60 rated stayed the same despite the extra 260lb weight. Note that the lfp usable battery capacity is also larger than nca to achieve similar range with the weight hit. Biggest unknown is cold weather range and performance. I...
