There are a few wires and switches in the door handles. There is one that tells the car the door handle is out, it sounds like that one may have a break. There's also one that tells the car the door handle is in. Then there's the paddle that moves the handle in and out.

The new batteries are being used in the standard range version due to energy density. I'm not sure they could fit enough batteries to make it a long range version with the CATL cells.

Mine hasn't charged past 95% for months despite trying all the tricks posted in this forum. I'm starting to think this it's also related to the battery"gate" issue.

I had my car set to 100% when the MCU died. It would charge at the full 40A but once it reached its target it dropped to 2A and wouldn't go any higher even with a low SOC.

If that's right, it will run without the tegra 3 board installed but the rest of the MCU still needs to be plugged in. Cars with free Supercharging can apparently still supercharge with a dead tegra board. I wonder what would happen if someone was to restart the MCU right before charging.
