App and phone key not working iPhone 13

It worked fine with my iPhone XS. Got my new iPhone 13 Pro today and transferred everything from the XS. Followed the procedure to reconnect Tesla Model 3 phone key with success. However cannot connect the phone and media player. Click on Search on the Tesla Add Device screen and saw the...

    14-50 Wall connector over heating

Wiring a 14-50 Plug requires 6 - 3 Romax wire (Neutral line). Install an HPWC with direct wiring can use 6 - 2 Romex wire (no Neutral line).

First time drove out of the comfort zone.

You are absolutely correct. If I did like what you said, I would have explored a bit more closer to Mt Katahdin. I kept watching the battery status and missed the opportunity to enjoy more. Thanks!

    HPWC Installation Quote Flexibility

$1,500 is about right. This is what I have done and shaved $800. Purchased a Tesla Wall Connector. $500 Run 6/2 Romex wire for more than 100ft. $150 Install 60A breaker to my 200A panel.$50 (Just a reference. not a tutorial)

    Home charging planning

This is what I have done. Purchased a Tesla Wall Connector. Run 6/2 Romex wire for more than 100ft. If you use NEMA 14-50, you have to use 6/3 wire. Tesla WC does not use neutral. Install 60A breaker to my 200A panel. (Just a reference. not a tutorial)

DIY Retracting Charging Cable. Took me 3 days to figure it all out.

Wow! Mechanically it is very slick. But electrically, I worry about the super long cable.

SONY RX10 M4. It's a very versatile bridge camera. The low light performance exceeds my expectation. I wish it had wider angle so I could take the Milky Way in larger scale.

Sorry about that. I cannot go back to edit after 10 minutes. I had to append images as reply.

First time drove out of the comfort zone.

It was reported that northern New England can see some aurora. During the Labor Day weekend, my friend and I decided to have an impromptu 5-hour trip to Millinoket ME to test our luck where there is the least light pollution in the whole eastern US. Tesla planner advised me to charge in Augusta...

    14-50 Wall connector over heating

HPWC uses dedicated lines and does not use NAME 14-50 plug. Mobile connector can use NEMA 14-50 plug.

Help, One Electrician Wanted To Charge $1500

If I install NEMA 14-50, I must follow the color code due to that is for generic use. A dedicated device, like HPWC, does not matter, both wires are hot, no neutral. I declared at the beginning and at the end of the video, that is not a tutorial, but a reference only. Some viewers pointed out...

    Autopilot Cannot Make Highway Exit

I did let it decide but it kept driving forward, even nav system reminded me to take exit.

    Autopilot Cannot Make Highway Exit

I had tried several times with and without navigation. All exits I tried are on the right and have no dedicated lane for exit, I used the blinker to guide M3 to the right lane. When the solid line became dotted line, I turn on the right blinker, but M3 kept moving forward and did not make the...

Diy: Home High Power Wall Connector Installation

Just answer your PS question first. :-) I went to Lowes and Home Depot, they both sell Murray only. All sales clerk said they are all compatible. I hope they don't have significant quality difference. Good suggestion on 50A breaker. Just about $12 and very easy to change it. The worst danger...

Diy: Home High Power Wall Connector Installation

I have tune down my charge current from 48A to 40A. The ampacity should have no question anymore, while it is still much better than mobile connector's 32A max (240v) and 16A max (120v).

Diy: Home High Power Wall Connector Installation

I did not TRUST "youtube videos". I did my own research. But the things are not all listed clearly. When I searched for what "-B" in NM-B strands for, all material I could find explains "-B" means rated 90C instead 60 without "-B". I would not argue with @eprosenx, but 334.80 never mention...

Diy: Home High Power Wall Connector Installation

Thank you very much for your comments and concerns. I have double checked my video and found that I did not have sheath inside the wall. My wall is an interior wall and should be safe. But I will correct it by adding a plastic tube, once I have a chance. Thank you very much for pointing...
