One thing in such judgements is to consider safety. Autopilot, other systems, structural crashworthiness - if safety is better than other vehicles it makes wind noise, and nearly every other point of comparison, sort of irrelevant...just saying.

Sorry this is the only correct reply here :) You can make any monitor look like that with camera exposure. Which itself doesn't mean this isn't defective but more likely they'd all look that way at this exposure. Put differently, it doesn't look to your eyes as it does in the picture.

It's not really clear from the Model 3 web page, but one way to look at it is that if actual collision avoidance (as seen in some YT videos, if they're real) is only included in the paid options then it's worth far more than $5500.
