Info on excellent Mod 3 sound system

True. B&O is decent relative to the household names - and much prettier - but not audiophile high end, even at the same price point. Having said that, the model 3 audio is pretty good by the standards of most in-car systems.

Assuming a 5" ground clearance for the P3+, how practical is that for the UK?

It's the model 3 performance as per the standard Tesla configuration. I'll try to measure, but may not get the chance. For reference my last two cars (330i and A45 AMG) both scraped on the large hump at the end of the road unless taken very very slowly. The Tesla doesn't.

Assuming a 5" ground clearance for the P3+, how practical is that for the UK?

I've got a P3 and live in inner London, completely surrounded by speed bumps. Have not scraped anything, even on the biggest - there's a nasty one at the end of the road that a lot of cars scrape on.

    Voice commands, any good?

It's much worse than Android auto. The navigation system uses Google map data, the voice recognition is not Google - I wish it was. It's generally good for navigation though, acceptable for music, but really bad for voice dialing. There are several names in my phone book that it just will not...

Real World Model 3 UK Experience

Ah, I see! A couple of people have asked if it was a model 3 and what I thought, and a few more look, but it doesn't attract a lot of attention.

Real World Model 3 UK Experience

On battery and range. On longer trips, a mix of motorway miles at 75 mph, A roads and some city, all with AC on, not driving aggressively but not trying to maximize range either, I get about 80% of the claimed battery range (ie the range shown drops by 100 miles after an 80 mile trip). Don't...

Real World Model 3 UK Experience

For me, FSD in the current state is certainly not good enough to be worth it - at least on UK roads. If I didn't have it I wouldn't miss it. I don't regret it though - I regard it as a bet that it will get good enough to be genuinely useful.

Real World Model 3 UK Experience

Hi All - have had my P3 (grey, white seats, FSD computer) for about 2 weeks now. For reference, my previous car was a Mercedes A45 AMG, so also a very quick car. The few things I miss (e.g. the seats) were because the A45 was fantastic, not because the Tesla is not very good. Similarly, I find...

Questions For Uk Model 3 Owners (delivery Complete)

Yes, they did send emails, which linked to a few useful videos - which I watched. Anyway, all forgiven and forgotten!

Ah, no, I didn't - that's too bad. Don't know anyone else with a Tesla - maybe I should have hung out here a bit first. :)

Questions For Uk Model 3 Owners (delivery Complete)

Picked my P3 up on Tuesday at Heathrow. They were very rushed - said she had 15 minutes. They couldn't answer simple questions about the car (eg how do I activate voice input, how do I activate autopilot), and the car was only half charged. I had to plug straight into the supercharger outside...
