8 months and counting...Will I get Tesla solar installed this year?

Use a local installer. Not one guy in a truck but a company with like 5 trucks that still has the owner directly involved in day to day stuff. Tesla direct is a joke unless you fit in their cookie cutter mold.

    Tesla App reports incorrect Solar

Solar puts off a balanced 240v output so tesla finally went to a single ct for the Pv which gets doubled. However this is still an option in the wizard. So if you are seeing half the real production, you either have one ct that is not working/connected properly or the system is set up with a...

    Generac bought Neurio?

The next gateway won't have neurio as the meter. If you are thinking about a meter for your loads, I really like sense - much better than neurio. It detects loads and names them and the install is easier.

    Switched on my system today!

That is very interesting that your installer has the site limit set above 0.00kw which is what the utility requires for zero export systems. Having it set at 30-50watts is a hack to get the Pv to produce when the grid goes down. This could be ok but if you export more kwh per month than the size...

    Switched on my system today!

The totals should not be off that much. It is very common for the CT’s to be set up incorrectly. There are solar edge site CT’s, Tesla site CT’s and Tesla solar CT’s. Each has to be on the right phase and pointing the right direction. Lots of variables and if anything is wrong you’ll see weird...

    Switched on my system today!

Daniel- ask your installer to submit for grid supply or smart export. MECO still has room on those tariffs and your system will work much better than when it’s set up for non export. The way non export works is that the Pv inverter and the powerwall both use their own zero export mechanisms and...

    Switched on my system today!

Daniel have you checked to see how your system operates when the grid goes down? Depending on the settings, there’s a good chance your zero export Pv won’t produce when it doesn’t see any import (needs to see import to know it needs to produce)

    Powerwall Stormwatch

Storm watch charges above 100 percent. This can cause frequency issues for folks because the powerwall will be so full it does not want the Pv to come on. So don't be alarmed if it's sunny and the Pv doesn't come on for a few hours when you are offgrid after storm watch.

Can anyone share a non-Tesla Powerwall install quote for a single unit?

10k per powerwall is pretty good price and about normal. If you need main panel upgrade or bunch of loads moved around of course it will be more.

    Powerwall On/off Switch Cover

I've seen black plastic squares stuck over the switch location with double sided sticky tape. Or can pull cover off and you'll see the wires going to the switch. It's only 12v, can just connect the two together and by pass the switch.

    On-Grid Issues

Tesla can't fix how the solar edge is responding to the grid but they can push a high impedance firmware to the gateway that may solve this on the powerwall side.

    PW and Enphase micro inverters?

It will work perfectly well with enphase. Only if you have a zero export system would this potentially be an issue.
