I ordered about a year ago knowing it would take at least 2 years or more to take delivery. So I sold my 2019 model 3 and bought a 2022 model 3lr. This way when the Cybertruck is released I can make a decision on whether it's worth it to me or not. I think it's going to be worth it, IMO.

I'd have them take a look. Set up the service. Your still under warranty and it can't hurt. They've done a couple of updates that changed settings and caused battery drain for me as well. That was my 2019. So far, nothing on my 2022 m3lr.

There is normally 4 or 5 spots available. If you can make it to Tallahassee, there is a whole foods and a bunch of restaurants there as well. That's our normal stop now.

Thanks! That's exactly what I needed to know. I have a long road trip coming up and I wanted it not to do what it has done in beta. I'm cool with the beta, but I don't want it to screw with me on the long road trip,especially on the highway.

If I turn off the self driving beta for a long trip, can I turn it back on? Is there an advantage of doing this? I like it enough to keep it on for around town but unsure about long trips.

Same thing here. Under autopilot, had a hard time. Under the FSD beta, not an issue.

I wouldn't go so far as granny driving, but I was a lot more mindful and used FSD a lot, yes even for short shopping runs. I will say yesterday on my way to the grocery store, there was a lot of cones and redirected traffic. It actually got lost and I had to take over. Well, that's Beta for you!

Similar experience. Paid 52500 out the door for model 3, tax incentives -4500, only had 28000 miles on it, sold it for 45000. Easily a break even without even doing the math. Bought a new 2022 model 3 with dual motor, red, and FSD.

That's what service did for me. They had me turn off smart summon. I had the EXACT same issue parked at TPA. You must turn off smart summon, Come to me, feature. It will drain your battery. Turn it on when needed.

I am scheduled for delivery next week for my Model 3. I currently have a 240v 15a system in my garage, (for my beer system). Can I use that as my charging port? Is that good, Bad, or should I get my electrician in to upgrade. If I did, how big should I go? I'm sure I can get at least a 40a...
