"Crackling" noise in headliner aft of the Driver sun visor

I had this issue a about a year after ownership. Whenever driving over a bump, I would get a rattle. Seemed to be coming from passenger side somewhere either above the headliner or in the dash. I had it checked at a service center and they said it was the radio antenna (AM I think) which had...

How long did it take you to get used to one-pedal driving?

I have had my car since December and the one pedal operation might be the SINGLE, most enjoyable part of my driving the Model S. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to but once mastered, you will rarely use the brake. One-pedal operation is less fatiguing to drive than the normal 2-pedal...

Alas, new problem: Windshield Stress Fracture. Anyone else?

This past week, my windshield cracked from bottom of passenger side corner sweeping up in an arc to the top corner. At first, I saw no impact mark, but upon closer inspection (with magnifying glass), I saw 3 impact marks, one directly above the crack. My VIN is relatively early (P01564) so...

Strange noise coming from behind 17" screen

I am happy I looked at this thread. (I am relatively new to TMC). I began having this 'fan noise' issue on May 31 and it has been constant ever since. My firmware version is 4.4. I received the notice for 4.5 but I have not yet downloaded it. The noise is quite loud in my car. With all the...

    Rookies guide to auto detailing

If you learn one thing on this thread about detailing your car, let it be this: Use the two-bucket system (with grit guards in each bucket) to wash your car. It will minimize the microscratches that we all see. As mentioned above by gsxrex, autogeek has a lot of good advice and products.

    East Coast Supercharging network

A Tesla rep told me that they have been constructed, and now await local code inspections so they are nearly (but not yet) operational.

    Real World Range Questions (Winter)

Brianman, I can plainly see the energy usage spikes on your graph. I just took delivery of my car and have put 86 miles on it so far. I am not very efficient with energy management yet. Once I learn the settings, controls, and get a feel for the road and the car response to terrain, I will get...

    Real World Range Questions (Winter)

I am a new member to Tesla Motors Club. This is my first post. Can more of you post actual watt-hours per mile you are experiencing in cold weather driving? I am taking delivery of my model S in a little over a week, and plan to take a trip (Philadelphia PA to Springfield MA - 265 MI) over...
