I just cancelled my order after Tesla refused to keep my car while I was on holiday for 10 days. Sent the mail to delivery team and it took 9 days for them to acknowledge it and process the refund (it will take 15 days to get my deposit money back) I can't imagine the 7 days refund process...

Cancellation sent (and no answer on when the refund will be done...#surprise). I jumped to something very different to make up the loss of excitement from the model3....a BMW Z4 M40i...I can collect when I want from the next week. It has been a pleasure for the last 2 months! See you all on...

3h on the phone (while on holiday)...2 mails sent...no answers. My VIN is gone and that's all I know....based on that I made my tough decision to cancel. I know this will be an unpopular post given all the comments on the other threads but this is not the way I expect to be treated when buying...

I am curious to see what happened... In the same circumstances they gave away my car and now I have no VIN, no idea when another one will be available...

How did you do that? Did you call them to ask for that or was it the delivery call the day before the one set by Tesla? Or..? After telling them that I was on holiday for 2 weeks I even lost my VIN in my tesla account...:/

I really love the model 3 and I was totally sold to the idea (I don't have a charger at home or at the office but I am ok to compromise...) Losing a car that has been delivered because I can't collect in 10 days is beyond any reasons...I wonder what happens if the car you get has some...

P+, Black, White interior, Heathrow delivery up for the next one in the queue... No reservation, ordered on 26th of June...I had a stable VIN in the sourcecode from beginning of July...and now a delivery date of 12th August....all perfect....except for my holidays from tomorrow to 25th of...

Thanks - as said I am in the same situation...delivery scheduled for Monday morning and I won't be here until the 25th. In addition to that I have a PCP plan with Blackhorse and it is not really clear what to pay to who....I'll probably pay the deposit to Tesla tomorrow and wait to hear from...

When you say pay Tesla you mean the remaining deposit right?

I have my final invoice and I am going through PCP via Black Horse. Now in the final invoice there is a statement saying "pay in full 7 days before delivery..." Given that my deposit will be £15k (minus the £2k put through at the order)...do they mean the "full" £13k or should I wait for Black...

I am not clear on "how" a quote can be judged more expensive than another one based on the monthly payments. Correct me if i am wrong but the variables in place are - Deposit - APR (i.e. interest rate) that is 4.9% for Black Horse, and I am assuming when people say that it is expensive it...

This is my PCP figures from Blackhorse before the price cut for a P+, Black, White interior I am expecting Black Horse to refresh that based on the new car price along with the final invoice whenever that will show up!

I also had a lease for an Audi S5 that is coming to the end in a few weeks (2 years lease). They gave me a quote to buy the car but it wasn't great (i.e. a bit higher than autotrader valuation)

Same for me with Heathrow delivery. I had the second text with "delivery brought forward" without the first one and this morning I got the mail for the18 to 25 window

So how did you close the call? It is confirmed that they are going to reassign the VIN for sure? Also did you already pay the final invoice or not yet? I still wonder how they can reassign it after someone makes the final payment

Does anyone have the detailed steps from the final invoice (any difference with PCP)? I guess once you make the payment and they register the car then how could they reassign it to someone else you don't show ip during the delivery window? (I am pretty sure you got what I am thinking to do here..)

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences, I must admit I totally understimated the "real autonomy" when you factor the 20-80% range of the battery, slow charge > fast charge for battery life and the difference in the efficiency for short commutes.... I am well beyond being sold on the model...

Are we also in the same building?! :) According to one of the guys at the Tesla store they should install a couple of additional stalls by the end of the year. Also is the supercharger open 24/7? I'd definitely do the one in the building but my managing agency / developer are hopeless

I thought that the model 3 warranty covers a minimum of 70% battery range within 8 years?

I think I will stick to Super chargers with a 90% maximum capacity....assuming there is a real 8 years warranty it won't be a big deal if there will be some range loss

That's interesting....well if I get it on August I will still be able to put it on Ebay and sell it :) To be honest I use the car almost every day but for super short commute (8 miles in total) so hopefully that should keep the battery alive...but I have the feeling I'll spend the next weeks...

Is there anyone else who ordered a model 3 without having the ability of installing a home charger?! I live in a building where we have no option but I am 15mins from the Brent Cross super charger in London and I am surrounded by other alternatives. I usually do less than 400miles per month...

Sorry my tow bar is a mistake in the order sheet! I didn't order one! My specs are P+, solid black (now £750 in my agreement), white interior and nothing else!

You can change the wheels at some point, the spolier seems to be removable and even if not it is tiny....nothing you can do with the lowered body though...:) I'd definitely go for the P+...(well that's what I did in the first instance to be honest..)

Thanks for this! I made my HP submission last week...didn't hear anything back from Blackhorse and now I have resubmitted for the PCP plan. I think I'll go for that with a £15k deposit instead of HP at this point
