Is this site showing up on anyone's in-car map? It's still there and working but it does not show up on my cars map anymore. There are lots of better chargers around the area now but I still hope this one does not get shutdown.

The Tesla crew came out this morning and replaced the inverter and checked everything over. They didn't find any issues and assume it was a defective inverter. We are back up and running. Overall, great customer support from Tesla.

Good news! The local PM and his supervisor have managed to get service out here tomorrow. So thankful for helpful Tesla employees. Hopefully the service tech can quickly resolve the issue and get my system back up and running. @jjrandorin, yes I called that number. As soon as I said Inverter...

Oh yeah, I finally got someone in support on the phone but they said I had the wrong department and transferred back to the queue so I gave up and will try again tomorrow.

And here I was so happy with how things progressed with Tesla. Of course I had read all the stories and knew what I was in for but it’s still disappointing to be stuck in Tesla support hell.

I was able to get a hold of the guy who was out for the install and he gave me the support number and told me to call them. He also said he pushed this up to his supervisor so we will see what happens.

Thanks guys, I think you are correct jboy and it is not available before PTO as when I go to the Support section of the App but there is no Request Service button. On hold now and the system says over 40 minute wait. Joy. I hope the fact that things are burning and melting will encourage...

I think I found the (or at least an) issue. Burnt wiring and connector in the inverter. Is it not possible to request service via the App? Support docs tell you to do that but the option is missing in my app.

We had a similar problem with our 2014 S85 after a service visit. Took it back in and it turns out they forgot to tighten the negative terminal on the 12V battery so it was dropping out every so often. I would definilty look at the 12V battery with this behavior.

I have seen this too. It does not happen on every song but frequently enough that I noticed. We have a 2014 S85 updated with MCU2.

Had this happen during a road trip. Called Roadside Assistance and they were able to get us into a nearby Service Center right away to have it replaced.

Our 2014 S 85 has certainly been impacted by dramatically slower supercharging speeds and limited regen since recent software updates. I do not believe it is an isolated issue. Tesla is replacing our MCU in a couple weeks due to the eMMC chip starting to fail. Tons of fun driving with a totally...
