Wrong Home Address giving DashCam Problems

Thank you to those who have tried to help. I'm pretty sure that your can only designate an address as "Home", not a pin on the map. When I found the name the map gave to where I live it gave the nearest public road (which is quite near as the crow flies, but a long way away by car). So that was...

Wrong Home Address giving DashCam Problems

When I put my home address into my Tesla it located my house a few hundred metres from where it actually is. This means that when it is parked at home it does not register that it is home. So although the DashCam is set not to record when home, it does, all the time, whenever I or a neighbour...

Model 3 is getting pedestrian warning noises (AVAS)?

If you could choose your engine noise, what would you select? Sports car? New (eg Ferrari) or old (eg 3 litre Bentley)? Realistic modern car or an old banger? Would you want a steady noisy, or one with gear shifts as your speed increases or decreases? Endless possibilities!

Model 3 is getting pedestrian warning noises (AVAS)?

My Model 3 is an August car, so does not have it. I imagine that very soon Tesla will allow those who do have this noise device to choose their own vehicle noise. That could be interesting!

    White on white

I have white on white. It looks splendid. I don't believe there is any problem keeping it clean.

    Very Satisfied Customer

My Model 3, collected just over a week ago, was very nearly perfect, although I tried hard to find faults with it! Driving it is awesome. I hope the Superchargers don't get much faster - there is only just time to have a cup of coffee before being summoned back to the car. Did you see that the...

    BMW F80 M3 v Model 3 Performance--From Someone that Owns Both

With my arthritic knees I also suffered from some pain in the Tesla 3, but raising the seat greatly alleviated the problem so that it is now no worse, and perhaps better, in than in my previous cars.

Green Number Plates for Zero Emission Vehicles

Don't know - but it's an excellent idea.

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

Expected delivery 10-17 September - Actually delivered yesterday 27th August. Big surprise. Beautiful car (LR AWD White + White premium interior, FSD). The only problem is that I don't yet have a charger as it was ordered for my expected delivery dates period!

    Delivery in Heathrow today

After the original estimate of a July delivery I was then told 10-17 September. Then a few days ago I was told 27 August - so collecting tomorrow. Arranging payment and insurance in five days including a weekend and a Bank Holiday has not been easy. So some of you with September or October dates...

    The 19" Curse

It's not just 19" wheels. Mine is 18" with LR AWD, registered 2 Apr 2016, ordered 1 May 2019, with a "suggested" delivery mid-September. No VIN yet.

    Best home charger

OLEV grant - I have been told (by an installer) that OLEV grants are not available for connectors supplied by EV manufacturers. I don't know whether tht is true. I like the look of the Tesla connector but don't know whether it can be used to charge non-Tesla cars, I have been told that it can...

    Can anyone confirm/deny this?

There have been many articles reporting on tests of the Model 3, almost all based on far more than 40 miles, and they all suggest much longer ranges than the What Car? review. I'm not worried at all! The way most of us drive we will find ranges not far short of the WLTP figures in summer...

    Second thoughts on FSD

I agree that no one would buy FSD for what it can do now (which is almost nothing). I believe that in two or three years it will have reached Level 3, and that would certainly be worth it for me. We are yet to see the undoubted benefits of what HW3.0 can achieve. If in 2 or 3 years the price has...

    Referral System

I agree that most of us will never use 1000 miles of supercharging in 6 months, so the benefit we get is not worth a great deal. But it feels good to have it. As it happens, I think I have 5000 free miles, of which I will certainly scarcely use any. However, because when I ordered on 1st May...

When do I get my supercharger Referral Code miles allocated? and how can I tell if I've got them?

I ordered 1 May and, as others have found, could not apply a Referral Code. I telephoned Tesla and they took my Referral Code details and emailed me on 15 May to acknowledge receipt of my Referral Code and to say that they would add it to their systems, but that this would take time. Two months...

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

Reg 2/4/16; Ord 1/5/19; LR AWD White + White Premium; 18" Aeor; FSD Today told probable delivery 10-17 September. Hurrah! At the risk of opening a topic that has already been dealt with: The specification for Premium Interior for the Model 3 that I ordered is not the same as what is offered now...

My car is same as yours (but includes FSD) and as I registered 2/4/16 and ordered 1/5/19 I hope to have delivery well before November! But still waiting for any information.

    Delivery brought forward?

No luck for me. I'm interested in the LOWEST order number not to have a delivery date yet! Mine is 6** and I registered on 2/4/16. Still having contract prepared (the same for two months now).

Tesla Referral Code Please [the one and only UK thread]

I ordered on 1st May but Tesla's web site would not let me use a Referral Code. I added one by telephone and received a confirmatory email. I was more recently told by Tesla Heathrow that it was not recorded on my file, but they took a copy of their email and said they should be able to correct...

    Insurance UK

In June, when I had been erroneously told that I would receive my Model 3 LR AWD in July, NFU quoted me just less than £1k. They did not seem to have much idea about Teslas, although perhaps they do now. When I am told a real delivery date I'll be in touch with them again.
