Thoughts on ART Replica 171 wheels

Ok, I thought I should give an update on this, so may be helpful for someone in the future if they face same issue. Apparently the wheels I received had issues. I reached out to DAI for details and this is what they said (wheel spec): The Art Replica 171 (R17118003 and also R17118001) is...

Model 3 Non-performance - wheel hub lip length

Thank you. I meant 'hub' only (the red marked part on my pic), I think I confused between hub v/s hub lip. (between I am not talking about the small 'stepped lip' on performance model 3s, which I knew from other posts that it is about 3mm)

Model 3 Non-performance - wheel hub lip length

Hello, Could any one tell me the length of the hub lip of Model 3 non performance? (Not diameter) I assume it is about 8mm, am I right? TIA

Thoughts on ART Replica 171 wheels

Sorry, yea I forgot to mention. It is 18" only. After this fitment issue, I measured wheel center bore of the wheel and it is not 64.2mm as they claimed (in the label on the wheel), it is 70+mm. Could be a manufacturing/labeling defect and they sent me a 'performance' (P3D+) which has about...

Thoughts on ART Replica 171 wheels

Those who are looking at this wheel - ART Replica 171 -, it didn't fit on my 2019 Model 3 Dual Motor!! Yes, I thought it will, but it did not. Mechanic showed to me that it was not snug fit and moving around on hub! My model 3 build is Aug 2019, not sure something has changed from Tesla side on...

Thoughts on ART Replica 171 wheels

Dears, after going thru this thread I am pretty sure I don't have to worry about ART Replica 171 wheel fitment on my model 3. They are currently in stock at PMC Tire (Art Replica Wheels - Replica 171 - Gun Metal) I am about to order now. However after reading their 'fitment test' - like test one...

Model 3 P without Performance Package, only for $68700

Ok, not sure about this. But I heard that Tesla made a bunch of P3Ds without P s/w option and sold to customers. When they complained they immediately change the s/w with original P version. May be employees at Lawrence thought that always possible? Or may be I am wrong.. no idea.

Model 3 P without Performance Package, only for $68700

Ok, agree on torque/power difference now.. It boils down now to if I need that power/torque or not.. (between called sale rep just to check, it is not possible to do this with custom orders. We need to go by available inventory and make changes there - so not necessarily we get all the custom...

Model 3 P without Performance Package, only for $68700

Model 3 P without Performance Package, only for $68700

thanks @pcons and @Xevex your opinion on this. "AWD is nuts fast, P-AWD will be killer" - I still need to think if I ever need a killer :), at the same time don't want to regret later. Right now I can't judge myself, not seeing a use case for me where I would need to go from 0-100km with in...

Model 3 P without Performance Package, only for $68700

Already ordered LR AWD model (non -P) couple days back. Thinking is it really worth spending additional $2710 + tax for 1.2 sec performance increase? (the complete package make sense as it has some other extra stuffs like wheels, pedals, spoiler etc.) would that even be noticeable or we(I)...

    Financing Tesla vehicles in Canada

Hi, planning to buy this month as well. Skimmed through this thread but still some questions, so basically we order then dealer will send us the finance quote/interest rate (RBC/Soctia etc.) then we choose one or look outside to get a better quote? Or it is like whatever the best dealer can...
