I stopped by this meijer location on my way home and noticed a couple of vehicles parked in the location of the new chargers look like construction vehicles. I don't want to get ahead of my self but could be promising. I'll circle back next week and check it out.

I was at this charger yesterday and plugged in at 18% with my MYLR and got 262kw. Fastest I've seen before this was 258kw. Anyone else getting peak rates like this?

That would definitely suit north/south travel better, I agree. However, seeing how Meijer is invested with Tesla (I've even seen some EA chargers popping up at Meijer locations), it's just a matter of time before all Meijer locations will have Tesla SC stalls.

This will be a great stop IMO. Coming from Michigan to Chicago this will be ideal before getting into downtown.

Interesting location. The Meijer in Jenison a few miles south would have been better in my opinion. But it is nice to see more 250kw chargers around GR.

I agree on the other Lansing location, it is terrible. I've only had to stop and charge there a couple of times traveling across the state and it was terrible. Add in the construction around Lansing with highways closed, its a pain. This is much needed.

The problem with SC saying its "within spec" is Tesla writes their own spec and tolerances. However, visually, it doesn't look right.

I wish there was. Even a 3 or 5 footer would be more then enough. In Europe they have a lot more that are pull in or pull through if you have a trailer. I don't understand why they don't do that here in the states. It would save a lot of headache.
