AC charging at a lower rate won't do much to help the battery out since even at 48A that's only 0.13C on a AWD Model 3. Anything less than 0.5C (2 hour charge time) shouldn't harm the battery. Lowering the amps can extend the life of the onboard charger, though.

I wouldn't exactly call the Model 3 a heavy car. The RWD Model 3 weighs 100 lbs more than a 2023 Camry. A Model 3 Performance weighs 150 lbs more than a BMW M3 Competition. Model 3 high tire wear mostly can be credited to lead foots.

Yeah, the automatic wipers aren't that great. I leave my wipers off, and when it rains I press the wiper button on the left stalk to turn it to auto until it stops raining.

Even the AWD Teslas are very rear-biased in the snow and ice. It doesn't bother me at all since that means I can still steer with the front wheels.

Regen braking doesn't have much use in any EV at slow speeds regardless of the brand. They all need friction brakes to get to a complete stop.

There's always friction on the rotors/pads during motion. Also, you have to apply a little braking force at under 7 mph.

I think now that there's no referral program at all anymore there's less of an incentive to promote the company. Lately, I've been telling people to wait a couple more years for all these recently announced EVs to become available first.

If an EV's charging to 100% there's a point at the top where it slows down drastically while it's balancing the cells so that added time may be factored in there.
