    Is 120v charging enough

Oh - another trick sort of mentioned above, can use existing 15A wiring & boost to 240V if you have a space in your panel. That doubles charge to ~ 18km /hr. Can also go with the 240V 30A (dryer level) if you are able. WHile most folks in newer houses adding the 240V 50A makes sense - in case...

    Is 120v charging enough

Hi We had same issue - couldn't expand 100A panel. So used 120V 15A circuit for over a year and rarely had any issues. 120V 15A at our house added about 100km over night calculated as 8-9km per hour so if plug in at dinner, by 8am would add over 100km. I did go to trouble of charging at...

Cost of EV charging in Vancouver

To give you some idea of monthly cost for several months I compared my before Tesla to after Tesla Hydro electric bills and mine went up between $40 to $50 CAD per month charging mostly at home at 120V15A circuit driving about 15,000km/yr. And that's at our Step 2 higher rate. I only wanted a...

    Passenger side mirror partially obstructed.

Mine are exactly the same Doesn't matter my seat position the housing blocks about 20% of the actual mirror. Even if I have it set not to see much of the car. Having the extra would be nice as mirrors seem fairly small after coming from a larger SUV but probably normal for small sports car

Trade in model 3 sr+ for model 3 lr awd

To clarify. I went with SR+ as 90% use is shorter local trips. For longer trips may take the ICE we still have as has lots of room or just do the extra stop or 2 for charging. Extra $ did not seem to be worth it.

Trade in model 3 sr+ for model 3 lr awd

Decision is easier in BC Canada as extra cost is CAD$19K + higher tax rate so >$20k ($16K US) So the move from Sr+ to LR AWD is a steeper price. I would have spent a bit more as plan to keep car longer so might as well get what one wants. Longer range for the occasional longer trips is nice...

    Financing Tesla vehicles in Canada

I follow financial news & there are reports of long term rates dropping & even being below short term (which is unsuual) - so there's some logic to the rates dropping a bit this month.
