Yes, The car had to be towed due to the ball joint separation. but after replacement the issue was resolved.

Mine was accompanied by a pop and it was related to ball joint failure.

That tells me you have something loose, is there any popping noise accompanying the pull from right to left ? Maybe jack up your car and see if there is play.

I had exactly the same experience. I used my SPL meter before and after with 7 different songs at the same volume level and the new speaker is 3dB or more, less than the stock one. It is a lot crisper in response, but almost 50% quieter. I wish I had a bigger amp to push this.

Never go by the pressure on the tire. That is the recommended max. Always go by the pressure listed on the sticker on the door jamb of the driver's door.
