Well, that is news to me. thanks for letting me know, I will pass this info to my wife. I guess all underwrites do not have the same information. Realistically do you want to insure your car with someone that does not cover a 20,000 upgrade/accessory?

No They will not insure an FSD-equipped car period. When there is a claim they will treat the vehicle (non FSD Tesla) as a normal claim.

Not insure Tesla with FSD. Tesla without FSD is ok If u don't have FSD their rates in GTA are very very good.

My wife is a home/Auto broker and she tells me CAA and Pembrige rates for Teslas in the GTA are very competitive. However CAA will not insure your Tesla if you bought FSD. Go figure

I got the versiin E installed today. So issues 1 Rear channels reversed. 2 Music sounds hollow vocals are high and bass ia somehow not as good 3 Chimes are loud. If anyone figures the right music setting in DSP please share the XPS file.

FYI. Version C. Here is the amp layout diagram (see below) Also, the DSP's in all the versions have a built in AMP. So Version C has 2 amps and no DSP and Version D has 1 AMP and 1 DSP.. That's probably why D is more expensive. Also, the amps work in parallel with the factory amp so its good.

Also in Version C, there are two AMPS. Which speakers/subs do each of the amps drive?

Sorry, i am not very good with electronics. When you are connecting multiple speakers to one channel wont it increase the load on the channel?

I was told that the SR+ amp has lower power rating than the premium amp. so i am really not sure about the headroom.

I guess it is to keep the impedance of the system to 4ohms so that the amp does not get damaged. Do you think it will work?

I got TPMS from ebay, tires from COSTCO and wheels from wheelsco and installed it at a local indy that i trust. You can easily save 1K or more if you go this way

I use my OEM wheels for winter and bought wheels for summer. Need more efficiency in the winter I ordered using whellwiz

We have a house with 100A service and charge the Tesla@ 32A with the AC/furnace working with no issues. I use the mobile charger so max out at 32A. We also have microwave, stove, dryer and other high current appliances working. I guess you can limit charging to 32A

Chains are banned in GTA. I have drive RWD cars for the last 15+ years in the GTA. With proper winter tires you should be ok.
