When I asked about next steps and they mentioned final invoice, they did say it's best to wait until you have a delivery date, and even then make the payment only a few days before picking it up - things can happen (their own words).

That was calling the sales before deliveries started, it's now gone barmy so don't expect to get through via phone or email now.

Ditto, they told me I've have to cancel the order and make a new one.

9th May! SC VIN popped up a couple weeks back, other than that - zilch! Very unimpressed, this will be the third new car I've ever purchased, and by far the worst purchasing experience. Everyone tells me it's worth it though. o_O

Actually just gave them a call up asking about unallocated stock, they said they're cleaned out and it's 100% custom order for the next couple months at least. Worth a shot - 9th May order here, blue/white SR+, booked a driving holiday around Scotland for end of September back when I was told...

This is a tad worrying for me actually. If accurate, they're saying that if you don't have a delivery window yet, don't expect your car to be on any of the ships that have left the US already. Given no delivery window for myself yet, that'd suggest I'm stuffed for September - for a May 9th...
