Bluetooth Audio - No Sound Bug

The only thing that worked for me is exiting the car for 5 minutes and coming back. I’ve tried unpairing, turning on/off Bluetooth, using other phones etc and nothing works. Mine doesn’t happen super often only about once every other week or so.

Thank you for your suggestion, I will try that. Regarding trolling, you are saying this is acceptable behavior on this forum? 1) “Sorry you are beyond help and rude. You should stop asking.” 2) “I am asking the rest of this community to ignore your post. You are offensive and undeserving of...

Bluetooth Audio - No Sound Bug

Don’t you have anything better to do? You understand that your solution is an Android phone setting, which is not a setting that is available on iOS devices? I also told you in this initial post that we tried 2 different phones and neither worked, so I doubt it’s a phone setting. When I asked...

I don’t think you know what you’re talking about unless you show me a screenshot of this iOS setting.

Bluetooth Audio - No Sound Bug

There’s no setting for enable audio on iOS for a Bluetooth connection that I’m aware of. The volume is at max.

Bluetooth Audio - No Sound Bug

It doesn’t have to do with the phone settings. We tested using different phones and Bluetooth audio from phone to other devices works fine.

Bluetooth Audio - No Sound Bug

Tesla Model S owner user since 2019, never had any Bluetooth issues. Before and after the recent software update, I started experiencing an issue where my Bluetooth was connected to my phone but audio is not playing. OTHER audio from car works, but not Bluetooth. I tried all the usual steps...

HV Battery Failed After 2 Years.. Months at Service Station?

I did finally get my car returned after approx. 9 weeks or so. Rough experience with the service center as they were unable to provide updates. From what I understand, they don’t have HV batteries due to “supply chain issues” (I actually don’t believe them - since they are continuing to...

    P85DL HV Battery Replacement

I have a 2019 P100D.. still at the service center 2+ months later waiting for HV battery. They haven’t given any update.. no parts available for who knows how much longer..

    P85DL HV Battery Replacement

Mine has been waiting for an HV battery going on 2 months with literally NO estimated replacement date. From what I’ve heard because of the battery shortage it can be MONTHS longer (3-6 months).

HV Battery Failed After 2 Years.. Months at Service Station?

Car has now been at the Tesla service center almost 2 months. I did get a loaner car. They literally have NO estimated date on ordering the HV battery. Apparently it could be many more months! This is absolutely ridiculous, and I will no longer be recommening Tesla to any of my family or...

HV Battery Failed After 2 Years.. Months at Service Station?

My 2 year old Tesla P100D had a complete HV battery failure that needs to be replaced. It was towed to a Tesla service station several weeks ago and there’s still no update if an HV battery has been ordered. How long does this process usually take? I’ve heard some reports of HV battery...

    Exclamation Warning Always on Dash??

I've had this warning for 2 months, at first I thought it might be related to the battery not being warmed up, but even after the battery warms it never goes away. What is this error?

How to preheat battery for launch mode?

I have a P100D. What's the best way to preheat the battery before driving so I can immediately get fast launches on a full battery? Now I'm driving around for 45 minutes waiting for the battery to heat up and by then I'm at 270 miles left on range which isn't as fast as a full charge. I...

    Does anyone charge to 100%?

Ive heard the Tesla lore that you can’t charge to 100% often because it is not good for the long term life of the battery. I have a Model S Raven Performance and I like the feeling of a full charge - the car is just way faster than charging to 75%. Anyone have stats on battery degradation on...

Car battery: 340 miles. I drove 280. Came home with 5 miles left?

I own a new 2019 P100D Raven that charges to 340 miles. I planned a 280 mile trip and returned with just 5 miles of charge left (1%)?! 1) When I left my house, I noticed I was charged only to 330 miles even though I maxed out battery charging capacity and turned of Sentry mode? (So I lost 10...

    Homelink works then stops working

Almost Rear Ended Due to Autopilot Hard Breaking?

Driving with my parents yesterday with autopilot engaged going about 70 mph on the highway. Cars start to slow down, so autopilot adjust down to 50, 40mph, then the car in front of me comes to a smooth stop and my car has plenty of time to smooth stop, but INSTEAD autopilot goes full on HARD...

Annoying to Full Press Break to Avoid Rolling?

Creep is off. I have a 2019 Model S Performance Raven. To engage the full stop break I must press the break about 95% to the floor.

Annoying to Full Press Break to Avoid Rolling?

So I got delivery of my Model S in Colorado and found it quite annoying to always have to jam the break really hard to avoid rolling forward and backward on hills when I’m at a stop. Now, I’m back in FL and we have no hills but I notice the car is still slowly rolling forwards and backwards on...

When changing lanes, do you look at Dash Cam?

And also it seems the Model S has a side mirror blindspot on the middle left and right lanes. Do you guys also turn your head left and right to check your blindspots? Or should this be replaced by just checking the rear camera on the display?
  27. T

When changing lanes, do you look at Dash Cam?

I’m a new Tesla owner and trying to figure out what owners typically look at when changing lanes. For example; right now I look at my rear view mirrors and then side mirror and rarely look at the dash cam. Do you guys look at all 3 when changing lanes (dash cam, rear view, side mirrors), and...

How much Depreciation Loss on Model S Performance Raven After 1 Year and 15k Miles?

I just purchased a 2019 Performance Raven last month and heard the Model S Plaid is coming out in 2020. My plan is to sell my car and buy the Plaid next year. I'm wondering what kind of depreciation hit I can expect after 1 year and 15k miles on my 2019 Model S Performance (includes FSD)?

Why is Autopilot always trying to Kill me?

I'm not going to name names, but I coincidentally had a 20 minute conversation yesterday with one of the former top executives at Tesla (I'm not talking about a sales guy, I'm talking about a guy that was high, high up in the ranks!). I mentioned the details of this thread, and he agreed with me...

Shipping Model S in Enclosed Trailer - Worries?

My Model S gets picked up in 2 days for a cross country transport, can you guys confirm these things? 1) Shipping in an ENCLOSED trailer is OK. It's unclear exactly if Tesla's definition of "flatbed" includes an enclosed trailer. 2) I should disable self leveling (as explained here...

Shipping Model S in Enclosed Trailer - Worries?

I hired a company to ship my Model S in an enclosed trailer across the country. As far as I’m aware, I just need to put the car into Towing mode. Is there anything else I should do or be aware of? I will ensure it has a full charge before it leaves.

Why is Autopilot always trying to Kill me?

As mentioned several times on this thread already, I was about to disengage autopilot as I approached the intersection when the problem occurred. The previous 5-10 minutes on this road had no traffic lights or off ramps or intersections etc.
  33. T

Why is Autopilot always trying to Kill me?

I think you guys are misinterpreting my intentions. Yes, the title of the thread is clickbaity, but the issue is very serious. As a new Tesla customer, you want me to just sit back and not say anything when you acknowledge the 2 issues I mentioned happens to you "EVERY DAY"!? I'm not one to...

Why is Autopilot always trying to Kill me?

Guys this is turning into a huge thread, so let me clarify why I started it. I am a new customer. I had expectations of AP from this forum, YouTube videos, and other sources in the Tesla community. Unless new owners dive deep and actually read a critical thread about AP, everything seems like...
  35. T

Why is Autopilot always trying to Kill me?

I think we need more people like you on this forum to help newer Tesla owners understand the true risks of autopilot. Too many Tesla zealots give unrealistic expectations to new customers.
  36. T

Why is Autopilot always trying to Kill me?

if you read my follow up reply, you can see that I wrote that for 10 minutes before I approached the intersection, I was using AP appropriately on a highway with no traffic lights or weird ramps or merging lanes. I was preparing to take over auto pilot as I approached this intersection when all...

Why is Autopilot always trying to Kill me?

can you go into more detail about the situation that caused your friends death that was similar to this? Were there any articles written about it or analysis of what happened to cause AP to fail?
  38. T

Why is Autopilot always trying to Kill me?

totally agree! How is it that some people in this tesla community think auto pilot can do no wrong, and then others like us have horrible experiences and realize the limits of autopilot very quickly?
  39. T

Why is Autopilot always trying to Kill me?

EXACTLY my point! As a new Tesla owner and reading the manual, one would EXPECT Tesla would be able to navigate on a highway like this (besides the traffic light which I was prepared to take over if it changed to red)... HOWEVER that is not the case at all! Tesla is NO WHERE near able to handle...

Why is Autopilot always trying to Kill me?

There seems to be a lot of confusion about my first example so let me go into detail.. This is CO-93 connecting Boulder to Golden, Colorado. According to Wikipedia “State Highway 93 is a state highway in Colorado that connects Golden and Boulder.” So to clarify people saying it’s not a...

Why is Autopilot always trying to Kill me?

in both my examples I’ve used autopilot on a freeway and highway as instructed by the user manual. it’s funny how some people in this thread are defending this technology even though both examples I gave were also experienced by others and can definitely endanger passenger safety. I think the...

Why is Autopilot always trying to Kill me?

Hey guys, I'm a new 2019 Model S (raven) Performance owner, and autopilot is continually trying to kill me. Nearly every time I've enabled it, within 10 to 15 minutes I have to take over due to the car not being able to figure out how to navigate a situation and endangering my life. 1) Driving...

Just Bought Model S - Keyfob Barely Detecting When Inside Car?

Last month I purchased a brand new 2019 Tesla Model S Performance. Now, when I get into the car as a driver, half the time if the key is in my pocket it won't detect. So I used to just pull it out of my pocket and the car would start. But recently, even when the key is out of my pocket it's not...

Any hacks to avoid 40 min charge limit?

Ok a lot of people are saying I can just stay longer than 40 min if I need the range. I’m a Tesla newbie. The app warns me that I can incur a fee of $1/minute if I don’t disconnect from the charger. 1) Is this BS or does Tesla actually impose this fee? 2) the app appears to “disconnect” the...

Any hacks to avoid 40 min charge limit?

It seems no matter where I go, Tesla is imposing a 40 minute charge limit. So that brings me up to around 250-270 miles of range of my P100D Raven which could charge significantly more. I'm curious, if I leave and come back in 30 minutes or something, will Tesla allow me to charge again? Or in...

    “Blindspot Detection Limited” after Clearbra

Okay, so after about 250+ miles of driving and 5-6 days, the error message went away on its own. I did schedule a service appointment and they told me they aren't able to remotely diagnose the issue, and then the error went away. It's unclear if they did something or it was just coincidence.
