The issue with the P was more that it had a slightly different hub and needed the replacement wheels to accommodate that. I switched to 19” wheels for winter tyres on my 2020 M3P and they just fit over the callipers (and provide a better, quieter ride)

Any speed sensors will be on the hub assembly so you’ll not need to worry about that. You’ll need specific Tyre pressure sensors for Tesla but plenty of options available there.

Whenever the 3 (usually the Performance) is tested on CarWow, it does well in Matt’s braking test against the competitors. I’ve not found a problem but do tend to clean up the disks every couple of weeks by turning down the regen.

I wouldn’t say it has nothing to do with it but despite the functionality afforded by Zappi, I still use the car to schedule the start and effectively use the Zappi as a dumb charger. So what I’m seeing is a change from when it works as it always has.

Those 20” model Y alloys are satin black pretty much. I’ve spent 2 years trying to find a decent match on my 2020 20’s as they are a very dark grey, again satin. The best match came from a generic seller on eBay.

I looked at that 0 to 60 time and thought “meh, bit slow”. It’s funny how now I see a sub 7 second sprint as slow. It’s not, obviously! It looks a great combination if the price point can be maintained.

All I’m saying is that the app could show the power diverted to the car rather than showing it going to the house. That information is available to Tesla because it does show it in the charging stats in the app. It’s not a big issue though, I’m very happy with the Zappi.

Yes I have in the UK. I don’t have a TWC though, rather a Zappi. Given Tesla app knows what is going into the car, I don’t see why it is charge point specific.

You clearly don’t have Golf Type Rs, Audi RS3 and Merc A45s. Here in the UK, these need putting in their place and it really needs an M3P to firmly do that ;)

There are losses of around 5 to 10% for each transfer across the inverters, the solar one and the PW. It won’t change your conclusion, or mine for that matter, that TEP is best for our circumstances for now.

The price differential is back to where it was when I bought my P over LR. The man maths is quite easy at 5k 😉
