Today is also the d-day for me, feels a little surreal - sitting at work in Melbourne this morning before jumping in a Uber at 12 to head to the airport. Pickup @ 4pm in Brissy. Tomorrow morning commencing the drive back to Melbourne, only to turn around next Saturday and head back to Brisbane...

I think I'm all set for tomorrow. All funds have been transferred and cleared, insurance has been paid, and flights booked. All that's left is to head down to MSY and pickup a T5 drive and I'm ready!

This route is best done on a bike, Reefton is one of the best bits of road in Australia - so many twisties. Though I'm sure it'll be fun in a Tesla.

Pepper sent my contract this afternoon via email, I’m guessing it’s another step closer. Still no delivery date though.

My car was on Synergy Keelung, and still no delivery date - Tesla confirmed yesterday that my car was sitting in Sydney waiting on transport to Brisbane. Once road transport is confirmed they'd then reach out and set a delivery date. You may need to add another week to above.

I'm waiting on a Brisbane delivery - will post once I get the call.

My car was on Synergy Keelung and they said the same - aiming for mid Dec. I just assumed they were going with a conservative estimate to avoid more disappointment.

With the phone call I received last week, on the day the hidden VIN appeared I was told that an invoice would be quickly generated and sent. I waited until yesterday but then got impatient so I reach out to a contact I managed to get within Telsa - he responded within minutes with the invoice...

I'd suspect that most likely your car is already in Sydney.. good stuff.

I just received a call from Tesla, pretty much advising a VIN has been assigned with an estimated delivery of mid-December. It's great to see the mass assignments today!

I ordered a bog stock standard white/back P+ in early July - still no VIN for me. If I could change my order to a SR+ and get the same price as it was in July, I could potentially consider that.
