V11- Backing out of garage with homelink

How about just depressing the right scroll wheel, wait a couple of seconds and saying, "Camera On"! There are a bunch of verbal commands, You will be surprised how easy it is to use verbal commands than pushing buttons. I use them all the time.

2017-2020 Model 3 recalled for trunk/rear camera issue

I received an email from Telsa on Dec 31st that my Model 3 is affected by the trunk/camera harness. I have never experienced any issues with the camera and the harness looks fine. I will schedule an appointment at the SC or have a mobile service come out and perform the correction.

    Tesla Model 3 Saves Driver In Destructive 75-MPH Rear-End Crash - Dec 13, 2021

The 75 mph came from the link headline, obviously the crash wasn't at 10 mph which is also not corroborated. I am sure at some point the police or NHTSA will either supported it or make a final determination. I think viewing the various pictures provided in the link below show it was a high...

How long will a model 3 last and what tesla to replace it?

Tesla is totally sold out for 2021. They expect to sell, 1 million cars for 2021, and 20 million by 2025. The only thing hold Tesla back is capacity. New factory in Berlin still not in production, new factory in Austin, Texas, still not in production, expansion in Fremont, CA, expansion in...

How long will a model 3 last and what tesla to replace it?

That is absolutely outstanding! Certainly look forward for my 2019 LR, dual motor to do more than a couple of hundred thousand miles, with little or no maintenance and still maintain a reasonable battery level. Glad to hear your story, I am sure many other owners or potential buyers are very...

Comparison Between Tesla Model 3 and Polestar 2

Range is determined by EPA testing on a static monitor at 55 mph, it is not Tesla's value. Normal driving at 70 mph and driving conditions will definitely have an impact on range on any EV.

Comparison Between Tesla Model 3 and Polestar 2

My neighbor has a Model 3, and for some reason he was driving a Polestar the other day. I guess it must be his wife's, because I just the Model 3 in his garage and him driving it shortly thereafter. I had a very brief discussion with him and he indicated he wanted his Model 3 because it is so...

How long will a model 3 last and what tesla to replace it?

Personally, I would stay away from any of the new EVs until they are out in the road for 2-3 years. I have been driving my 2019 model 3 for two years, no problems and the best thing is if you are driving long range, there are plenty of tesla supercharges with more being added all the time...

    Supercharger - Baker, CA (LIVE / EXPANDED 40 V2 + 20 V3 stalls)

I was at the Baker supercharger on November 6 at about 5:30 pm. About have the stalls were being used, so would imagine it be long before they reach capacity. Trash cans and bathrooms could use more attention.

How long will a model 3 last and what tesla to replace it?

I would like to hear from Model 3 owners that have over 100,000 on their tesla? What issues if any they are experiencing. Personally, I live in So Cal, and weather and road conditions are a very minimal factor on the car. My plan is to keep for quite a while unless something really great...

M3 mid range battery swap after accident

    Another Model Y Accident

Glad everyone is safe, I think Tesla is the safest car anywhere. $11,000, that seems really low, but I suspect there are adequate parts supply and repair shops now. On my first model 3, three years ago, a motorcycle dinged the rear bumper and a small area in the trunk. Insurance paid $8,000...

Mason mother of 5 dead in Clermont County crash (Model Y crash)

Water is used to cool the battery cells because heat is the main cause of a Tesla battery fire continuing.. Internal combustion vehicles have a way higher rate of fires than EVs. I certainly hope every Tesla vehicle occupant knows how to use the manual door release in case of an emergency.

Mason mother of 5 dead in Clermont County crash (Model Y crash)

Hopefully, the data recorder and video captured will help determine details of the crash. Tesla battery fires are caused by heat, not because they are punctured. Case in point, an individual in Indiana years ago shot a 45 cal through the battery pack causing no effect. I don't remember his...

    Charging infrastructure

I have not put down a $100 deposit, but I definitely plan to buy the Tesla Truck. No point in putting a deposit now, just wait till all the specs are out, give a drive and then just buy it. I am in no hurry, love the Tesla Truck.

Supercharger - Irvine, CA - Michelson Dr. (Park Place, LIVE 19 Oct 2019, 12 urban stalls)

The number of superchargers units is rather limited, 12 in one location and this one for 8. I have noticed many of the supercharges are full as more and more Tesla vehicles are bought. Last Sunday at 2pm in San Clemente, which has 20 units, had to wait in line to get to a supercharger. A year...
