I thank those people who have posted, and I see there were some who purchased in March 2019 and were able to take advantage of the $2000 price. Which means they paid what I paid.
I also see some who weren’t sure about those of us who don’t have any autopilot so I am posting an image of what my...
we have a 5 year old and he likes his car seat in the middle. We haven’t had any trouble fitting a stroller bike or other kid stuff in the trunk. It’s a pretty family friendly car but I don’t think it would be comfortable for three or more kids
I don’t have autopilot of any kind, just the dumb cruise. I do have the driving visualizations though, and I have the Christmas software update, so they have not been removed for us.
I agree. I’m not sure why basic autopilot is $3000 for those of us who purchased before April 12, 2019. Here is what Tesla says:
1) We are putting basic autopilot on all new Tesla cars because it has been proven that cars driven with autopilot are safer than those without it.
2) We gather...
Thanks for the advice, but I am not a millionaire. $1000 is a lot of money to me. Spending some time talking to people is ok with me. Even if I don't get Tesla to make it right by me.
BTW, thank you all for the replies over the past couple days, it is all helpful to me. Nightshade and...
Hi, I posted this in my other thread, I will post it here to reduce confusion.
I admit the timing on basic autopilot pricing is strange but here is why:
When I bought my car, I took delivery on March 30. I had autopilot on the car at time of delivery.
less than two weeks later Tesla announced...
I admit the timing is strange but here is why:
When I bought my car, I took delivery on March 30. I had autopilot on the car at time of delivery.
less than two weeks later Tesla announced all new cars sold would have basic autopilot so I just thought that was why I had it.
Over the summer...
Redoing my thread from yesterday after finding that Tesla offered a special trial to some owners who purchased in March where they could buy basic autopilot for $2000.
Who was able to do that.
I would like to have Tesla allow me to buy at that price since they never offered me the trial. So...
Thanks, that is helpful, and it makes sense, so I guess I am looking for people who took delivery in March, but who were able to buy autopilot for $2000 based on that reduced trial price.
Autopilot is not free for those of us who bought out cars before April 12. For me, Tesla is asking me to pay $3000 for basic autopilot, and I am asking them why isn't it $2000 based on the things I have read online. My story is a long one, but bottom line is I am trying to buy basic autopilot...
Hi, I am trying to find folks who purchased their model 3 in March 2019 and were able to purchase autopilot for $2000. I believe this was pretty common, so who here was able to do that?
Thanks
this waiting is killing me. We have another trip to Roanoke planned for thanksgiving and since we drive from chapel hill Nc there is really no good way to mange our charging until this thing goes live. Our last trip found us in Greensboro with 22 miles charge left on our return drive. I wish...
Oh no, need to go there tomorrow to visit my family. It's a 150 mile drive one way for us, then we need to drive some around town before returning. Doesn't look like it will be any fun looking for charging.
I wish they would have finished the supercharger. We have been putting our trip off...
