I took a picture where the divide of the old 8 150 kW and 8 new 250 kW SCs are. The kept the old ones in operation while the new ones were added. They made the old spots 30 minute general parking and it looks like they moved the original signs to the new ones so they are tesla charging only...

I called Tesla last fall and they said they were planning one at Red Run Golf Club in Royal Oak. Neither City of RO or Red Run had a clue about a Tesla SC. Drove by RR a few times since then and nothing. Give Tesla a call and tell them your area is safer than the Detroit location!

Was charging at North Platte less than half hour ago when a city truck pulled up, blocking several chargers. They needed to power down this site as they are installing a larger transformer due to high usage! Said they hardly ever see the other chargers by walmart being used.

As I-88 is a toll road, if you get off at Rochelle and get back on at Rochelle you pay the same toll as if you had gotten on many miles way back in DeKalb ($3.60 online or $1.80 with ipass). If you take IL-38 to IL-26, about 25 miles, there's not another $3.60/$1.80 toll. Next time I head west...
