I have just heard that they have stopped the roll out of .8.1 and .12 because of typical Beta problems - I got the .8.1 - and it seems to have improved the voice commands but not much else. A new and better one will be along soon.

- It stayed stuck until I unlocked the car - using the proximity of the phone - which shows that there is some connectivity (Bluetooth?) that continues without the app saying its awake... as soon as I got into the car the app was wide awake. I think it's like a new puppy - really cannot deal...

new Model 3 owner here - and my app seems to be in a coma too - used the car yesterday - finished charging in the middle of the night - so sound asleep the app has told me it's waking up for the past 25 minutes - sometimes switching to say it updated yesterday - but no progress from phone...

Thanks for the heads up Dave I will remember to ask - there are a couple of other options that could just about fir in the narrow space - I actually would possibly get the Tesla charger if the charger connection was also possibly placed on the left not just the right side of the unit.
