    Supercharger - Mission, KS

The juice isn't on. Just checked and the meter is installed but it's dead. Wonder what the holdup is. The lights are still not installed, but that's not really a problem.

    Supercharger - Mission, KS

As of the morning of April 14, the transformer is installed and the construction tape is gone, but the area lights are still missing and there is still no power to the charging stations.

    Supercharger - Topeka, KS

I haven’t seen any photos of anyone charging in Topeka yet, so I thought I should finally get around to memorializing the opening with this one, taken when I passed through the afternoon of October 16. The workers were still there cleaning up, as can be seen in the background. I’ve never posted...

Watching for I-70 Superchargers from Denver to St. Louis

If you're careful it can be done, at least in nice weather: 65 mph, 227 miles, 76 kWh used, 13 miles range remaining in north Johnson County. With a boost charge at the new service center on the east side(11 miles less) it would be a bit more comfortable, but it was a nice drive.

Watching for I-70 Superchargers from Denver to St. Louis

The dot in Effingham is removed and the dot at Mt. Vernon is now in 2015 instead of 2014; the I-70 route just can't seem to get across Missouri and southern Illinois. At least Kansas City and St. Louis are now "coming soon." A good man named Shawn in Washington, MO can help you with a charge on...

Watching for I-70 Superchargers from Denver to St. Louis

I went by the new service center site Sunday and they were hard at work on it. The supervisor said two or three weeks to completion. It's a nice facility--for an industrial area--with good space. The show room was just about complete with the usual space for a car and a chassis(P85D?!). There is...

    Supercharger - Topeka, KS

I should be passing through Topeka on Thursday between 3 and 4, so I will see if I can get any juice--my first opportunity for a DC charge. I'll be looking forward to the grand opening too. Evan, if you need a top off in KC on your way to Topeka, there are several good(40A) locations on...

    Supercharger - Topeka, KS

Watching charging does sound a lot like watching water boil, but I did drive a half hour out of my way to see the Supercharger in Normal, so I understand. It will be my first supercharge, as well. I'll post it when my schedule is set.

    Supercharger - Topeka, KS

A friend who lives in Topeka talked to the crew on Friday, and they said they are waiting for a part and should be complete on Tuesday. I expect to be passing through town later in the week and will report if someone else doesn't get there sooner.

Watching for I-70 Superchargers from Denver to St. Louis

I talked to a friend at Black & Veatch--engineering some of the the SC network--last week, and he said Blue Springs is in planning and should be installed by the end of summer.

    Hello from Kansas City, MO.

Hello from Prairie Village. I picked up my beauty in Denver on February 4 and had a nice drive home. I'm still amazed that I am privileged to own such a fine automobile. It has a few punch-list items to be fixed when I can get an appointment in St. Louis, but certainly not enough to dampen my...

1K Mile Road Trip With Kids and Without Superchargers

Nice story, and good to hear from another Kansas City area Tesla owner. I'm a bit late discovering this thread, but I made a similar trip in February. I picked up my beauty at the Denver service center and drove home(about 600 miles plus a few demo rides) to Prairie Village in two days. Along...
