I rarely use "plain" AP for highway driving, I use NOA instead and that way I rarely have to use the signal to go around slowpokes, the car just takes care of it without my intervention. It's even "thoughtful" enough to get back out of the passing lane :)

Mine (Model 3/HW3) also renders the cones without being in NAP. I haven't come across any barrels but it renders the taller, skinnier "cones" the same way. I guess they have a wide range of traffic "cones" they detect but only one image to render with in the GUI.

I'm looking for a situation specific setting for auto-navigation, not the blanket On/Off that is available today. If I'm travelling to somewhere new, I want voice prompts. If auto-navigation is "taking" me to work, or back home from work, I don't need to hear the voice prompts.

Question about auto-navigate for those that have tried it, is there an option to suppress the verbal turn by turn directions? Seems reasonable that if the car "knows me" well enough to predict when I want to go to/from work then it should also know I don't need voice prompts for each turn...

I've got a pretty strong hunch I am seeing this too. I've been noticing the "obstacle notification" in the back left on freeway driving sometimes triggering non-stop for several minutes when there is nothing there. During roughly the same period I have had a big jump in aborted lane changes...

That might be why you are seeing drain on the 12v, you could try turning on Sentry and see if you get a different result?

Correct, the 12v accessory outlet doesn't come closer to cutting it for this kind of draw, has to be direct too the battery.

I can't help but wonder whether the lack of SMS integration, Android Auto, Car Play is all because in the grand vision they don't have a long term future. Once the car is FSD you can check your phone to your hearts content.
