My wiper hose wasnt clipped in under the trim at the back of the frunk so it rattled when over 50 mph. Sounds like wiper hose/wiper wash/mirror alignment/window function are all worth checking, as they are all really needed for driving, and can't easily wait for a return to a SC in a few weeks.

Did they fix it?

I'd put in 4 'dumb' (no apps or card needed) 7kw chargers in the pub car park, more visibility, pub might get trade, but make them aong way from where people prefer to park so that they don't get iced.

Thanks - the mirror body opens fully, will try a reset next and see what happens. Can anyone alter their mirror so they can just see sky -ie no car visible?

My driver side door mirror doesn’t move outwards as much as the passenger side. I can’t get ‘rid’ of part of the car, and I can’t work out if this is the limit of normal movement, or a fault with the mirror? The picture show the maximum I can rotate outwards.

Bundle it with free supercharging?

£900 for a polish and ceramic (3 coats) of body/glass for me. Decided not to do aero wheel covers. As soon as a detailer looks, they will see paint irregularities you hadn’t noticed, but once you’ve seen them, they are hard to forget...

In the last update I noticed that when I pressed wiper, the panel on display then changed to show wiper settings? Was this new then - or had I just missed it before. The updates happen so fast I can’t be sure what’s new and what’s just me still finding new things...

I’ve had a rolec for 9 years for my leaf, and it’s never missed a beat. I quite like the style but that’s personal.. Some early ones had failures (apparently). As long as it doesn’t have an app or any software you should be fine.. 11kw charging at work would be nice!

I have a 2011 leaf which is down to about 16kwh, but at £5000 value, it’s less than a powerwall... If there was a way to use the chademo connection and try v2g, this might may it possible to keep ‘old’EVs financially viable for longer.?

Does anyone know if you can stop a Zappi charging from the unit itself? Rather than the car or Tesla app? I've just had mine installed, but it would be nice to find a way to do it on the unit, rather then digging out the phone.

Can get some BBC podcasts through Spotify but not all...annoyingly. Create a playlist called 'podcasts' add them to the playlist via Spotify app, and they should.appear in car version of Spotify. No easy way to move through the 'track' though if you want to repeat or skip a bit?

Will a PV inverter still 'leak' at night time? Would this vary with PV change? I'm trying to find a pattern in my rather random RCD trips.

I think talking about this must have jinxed the system. Tonight I had my first trip in ages using my old leaf rolec type1 cable plus an adaptor to type 2 (kids on xboxes not happy...) Went into house - reset rcd, tried again Immediately and it was fine!

I should add that my leaf esve 3 pin never trips the house rcd. The only common factors I have are the m3, umc 3 pin/(or leaf esve with adaptor), and house. If I use all three together - it trips, if I take one of these three out of the system, it doesn’t.

1) I tried umc on an old car park external 3 pin and it didn’t trip at the start of charge. 2) It does trip immediately car starts to charge, every time in house, so I think it is house//umc/car combo. I have PV. It doesn’t trip when plugged into car and socket, only when charge tries to start...

I've had the same problem. Even using a 3 pin RCD from garden equip[emt in between to tesla plug and the garage socket, the RCD in the house trips, as soon as the car starts charging..

I think the Tesla.assistance is limited to a warranty covered breakdown only? Green flag will.recover you if you hit a rock and damage suspension etc, and can't drive. Direct line told.me they only use Tesla for.repairs, but I don't know how unique, true, or useful it is...

I've only done one long range trip in M3, but coming from an old leaf, the step up in range, even in cold and hills, is impressive to me. Depends where you are coming from!

I charges there last night - and was disappointed with the rate. M3 with preconditioned battery at 32% only got 142kw (6c outside). By the time it got to 68%, down to 86kw Hopped over to SC and got 88kw. Charger 3 didn't seem to like my car, So I had to shift to charger 4. I was the only one...

My anxiety about paying was that if Tesla went into bankruptcy then I might lose the money. That seems unlikely now - but I doubt earlier payment would get the car earlier?

I've done another variation...If I use the Leaf ESVE 3 pin, and use the T1 T2 adaptor into the tesla..it also trips, so it must be something to do with the M3 being different in some way to the Leaf. I think the new install of 7KW Zappi plans an RCD in garage, so hopefully, I can avoid resetting...

70 mph at -10 wet will not do 325miles. Abrp estimates 250miles. Glasgow to Stoke for me. Further than I have driven in a fossil car non-stop!

According to abetterrouteplanner, Clydebank to Birmingham (300miles) in a raven at 70 mph at-10 in the rain, needs a charge stop half way (15mins)(41-68%). Total journey 4.5 hours. A 15 mins stop in a journey that long seems ok to me?

my in car (M3) map shows fewer stalls than I think are really supposed to be there. Is this out of date CCS data, and the in car map will correct to the 'full' amount?
