At our local car wash . a driver takes the car through. We have enough MS going through this car wash in San Diego that the people who dry the car know not to touch the center display. I am very satisfied with the way the car looks after it is washed and no issues thus far.

I am seeing one almost every day now in the La Jolla/Del Mar/RSF region of North San Diego. Pretty soon this thread will become obsolete!---that will be a good thing. BLINK lists 300 L1/L2 chargers in the area--more than the LA Basin.

Sounds like the 19 inch wheels on the performance p85 are not the best way to set up a European test drive in mid-winter---too much immediate torque and not enough friction. Maybe Tesla should be doing this European Get Amped tour in standard p85, or even 60 kW cars---or wait for Spring!

@model S1079- The Beta testers seem to think that the mobile App will be released within 2 weeks. I am with you, we definitely need the charge timer. Our rates go from $.24 to $.08 after midnite.

Sounds reasonable to swap them out in NJ. Just thinking that they should give some sort of credit---maybe in the future. I went with the 21 inch wheels because I live in San Diego---no rain, no ice, no snow. Enjoy driving your car when it arrives.

@yobigdo--we both finalized at the same time with the same car/color options. The only difference is that you have the 19 inch wheels. You say you got the performance option which comes with 21 inch wheels as standard. Did you swap these out for the 19 inch wheels?

Swegman- This does not make sense that 3 days after reserving your car you jump 4000 places and get a time to finalize notice. Do you have a screen shot? What you have in your garage has nothing to do with when you get the finalize button--only after you finalize does Tesla know what to build------

Highedu- I think you are correct. I am right behind you in the cue, and waiting for my "finalize". Past experiences suggest that a flurry of notices get released on Mondays---so lets wait and see what happens next Monday.

Jomo 25- One solution--- jump in your car and take a drive to SoCal. Both the San Diego and Orange county stores have been fairly good at scheduling test drives. I have to warn you-- once you test drive---you will be purchasing, the car is beyond amazing.

Wow--you guys are getting hammered up in the Bay area. That being said, 330 W/mile at 70-75 miles/hour in dry conditions sounds great. I thought I would have to do 45-50 miles/hour to get that kind of range. Enjoy your cars over the holidays.
