Be patient my friend, once you get that vin in source code, the process & waiting is lightning fast. That's when Tesla will call you a lot to make sure you paper work is done & will want to know if you can get the car immediately cause they don't won't a mad house people waiting in the holding...

Wellm I picked up my Model 3 at Costa Mesa today! It has been a long 8-weeks, but well worth the wait. Be patient my fellow Cali peeps, it will come fast & next thing you know you're driving in your new Model 3. (Placed order on 10/1 SR+)

Quick update, so Tesla from Costa Mesa called saying my Model 3 is ready now, can I come get it today instead of tomorrow. I was like heck ya! I'm in a Lyft as I'm typing this heading down to Costa Mesa on this rainy day. Will be taking pictures.

It will still show "We're drafting your" but on the right side of the screen you'll see Model 3 & below it your VIN #.

Looking into the chrome delete & perhaps lowering it on Eibach springs since Eibach is 1/2 mile down the road from my house.

I would place the order asap, it's only $100 deposit. Plus Tesla will do whatever it takes to get customers their Tesla by end of Q4 cause they want to break Q3's record. I think they want to hit at least 100K for Q4.

Is your SA from Costa Mesa? I person I emailed this morning told me early to mid-Dec. Just a few mins ago, I got my VIN in source, that just tells you some SA just don't know anything.

So being that the VIN is in source code, does that mean the delivery center has it & prepping it or does it mean it's just getting out of Fremont?

In source, it pop up on my Chrome VIN finder. Love that tool. Will reach out to the SA tomorrow.

So I decided to email my SA in Costa Mesa just to see what they say. Here’s the reply I got back within 5mins! Our current approximation for Standard Range Model 3 is early-mid December. A reply within 5mins tells me they didn’t research at all and just replied back with a standard response.

I feel yall's pain, same here! Lets hope this week we get good news. At least something before Thanksgiving.

According to the spread sheet tracker, a guy up in SF ordered the exact same config & color on 10/6, got his VIN when I ordered mine on 10/1.

What's your setup? I think configs Model 3 with 19" wheels is getting pushed out first, then the basic areo wheels setup.
