New Seats and Retro Fit Seats - Does anyone know when?

I'd guess it's going to be improvements to rear passenger comfort. There's been previous discussions about needed changes to make the Model S more suitable for the Asian market where a lot more owners are rear passengers, rather than drivers themselves. But that's just a guess...

40 to P85 - The Journey from sensible to HOLY ****

My 367lb number was based on your table assuming equivalent efficiency at Ton-Miles/KWh for both models. I just solved for X where Ton-Miles/KWh = 6.11 and KWh/100 Miles = 35

Ton - Miles / kwH Metric

Don't you think the 60KWh version will be lighter than the 85KWh, at least partially accounting for the increase in MPGe? If you were to assume the same Ton-Miles/KWh for both models, then the 60KWh should weigh 4280lbs (367lbs lighter). I guess we'll see when Tesla publishes the curb weight...

Tesla Delivery Fail, what should I do now?

wycolo, it was full on heroics. I was practically begging then to just let me come over to the factory and just drive my car off the line. Going into the last weekend of 2012, the car had gotten stuck in end of line repairs and improperly logged in the system. I think it actually was still...

Tesla Delivery Fail, what should I do now?

Having suffered an unnecessarily bumpy delivery process myself, the phrase "nothing else will matter" doesn't sit right with me. If Tesla doesn't get their act together soon on customer experience, it won't matter how good the car is. Word of mouth is critical. I have a few friends who are...
