I opened another service appointment with Tesla on this. The tech just texted me and noted that my vehicle is not marked "Delivered" in their system. As a result, it would hold any firmware updates. He is going to follow up with the delivery team tomorrow to correct it. We'll see if that...

I ordered on 21-Sept. While the tesla account page does not yet show the VIN, I did receive a text yesterday asking me to schedule my delivery as my performance model x was now in 'transit'. Unfortunately, the earliest date is 26-Oct. I went with blue, 22" wheels, 6 seats, black/carbon fiber.

What did the design studio provide as your estimate though. Mine said two weeks, I am exciting that to be a little generous though.
