Is model S right for me?

If anyone is in a condo building in sf with public chargers and could quote me their rates on those chargers it would be extremely helpful information. Since a condo building energy costs are so different from a private residence I would like to see of the rate that I am seeing is in line with...

Is model S right for me?

I am not going to be there for very long. When my management says 'the contract was already negotiated and is fixed at that rate to protect the hoa' I guess my only option is contact city officials, but by the time that has any impact I will likely be gone (6-12 months). It's the same reason I...

Is model S right for me?

Sorry I should have clarified. That rate is for the chargers in my condo building. I know for a fact that it is much higher than any other charging stations in the vicinity and I am trying to figure out what I can do about it right now

Is model S right for me?

Lloyd - the problem is I don't own my own parking space, but rent a space from someone in the building. They do not want to install a charger. I have to use the community stations in the garage. K Hall - no unfortunately it is definitely $0.97 per kWh.

Is model S right for me?

thanks oops changed it to 97c/kwH. I've been in touch with an HOA rep, apparently it's not coming from the HOA but from the building management. I haven't figured out what to say just yet. I am going to send a list of comparable rates nearby and see what happens I guess.

Is model S right for me?

Price gouging on charging stations at my condo - is there anything I can do? So I have been told by Chargepoint that the 4 charging stations in my building in San Francisco are overseen by the building management of my condo. The rate is set at 97cents/kWh at all times. Apparently chargepoint...

Is model S right for me?

Wow I am furious, this seems like money-gouging. I know that san francisco and pg&e are expensive but it seems this rate is nowhere in anyone's ballpark! Does anyone in SF have a tesla or know the usual rates here?

Is model S right for me?

Hi again - thanks for the information all! I have some updates Good news - I think the chargers are compatible with the model s, and there's no real competition for their use currently. Can someone verify if this will work, speed it may charge etc or need more info? Coulomb technologies ct...

    selling performance tires?

i'd love to do that. I'd love to test drive the non-perf as well, and a model s without a sunroof too. But the only test drive cars they have are fully loaded. So I am worried to forego things that I may otherwise want haha. If you know somewhere that I can test drive the perf car with the 19'...

Is model S right for me?

Thanks for the info! A few more details - my condo already has two charging stations in their garage. I will try to find out if it's nema50. So I should mention - I don't have my own parking space. I rent a space from someone and so they will not be installing a private station at their spot...

    selling performance tires?

Has anyone considered this? I want to get the performance package but would rather have the 19 inch all season tires because of where I live. However, I feel like I would be short changing myself as the 21 inch tires are soon going to go for a premium cost. Would it make any sense to get the 21'...

2012 Year End Delivery & Tax Credit Issues

Hope this is the right thread - Had a specific question for those of you in california. Is the CVRP tax rebate also a 'credit', not a deduction? Also from this forum someone was mentioning that the rebate may not be available for FY2013. However, from this website: Rebate Funding Status It...

Is model S right for me?

Hi I was trying to figure out if my condo has the proper charging stations for the model S. Are there specific settings/information I should look for? I am pretty naive on the topic. Also, if the car can only be charged a few hours every few days, will that be manageable still or does it need...
