Just a quick update to let everyone know if they’re suffering from the same issue, it was the charger itself causing these issues, replaced it and all faults are now in the past :)

I did this, it actually fixed itself but went ahead and checked connections, I couldn’t see anything wrong but cleaned and greased all connections with contact cleaner and non conductive grease. Ran fine for a while, now I have CHG_w101_lostCommsPhase as a permanent fault, it tripped the rcd...

He works for Telsa service as apposed to being a low level pro, so I guess all he can do is plug it in and update or configure it. Could I not use someone elses backup without the certs? then he plugs it in and configures the car. or does that sound too easy? If not how could we rebuild a...

He can only program it if they can talk to the MCU so it needs to be responsive, he mentioned something about having the kernal running, I am guessing its on partitions 1,2 and 4?

And if i have a dead eMMC? What I am saying is how can I get this to a point where it will boot up without the cars info on it, then I can have a friend at Tesla program it like it was a fresh unit....
