    2020 price reduction and cancelling order

    With UK BIK dropping to 0% in April, I expect a spike in demand next year. I think this may create a shortage of supply and I'd be surprised if Tesla dropped their prices for a while. If anything they may go up IMHO.

    Hey DaveyJ2019, although it's a long time to wait, on the plus side that delivery timeframe is almost perfectly optimised for 0% BIK ! I presume Tesla will start shipping again in January so you might get lucky and receive something mid-February. Hopefully it's just Tusker being conservative...

    M3 Pedestrian Warning Sound PWS

    Tend to agree, but it would be nice to have a button to trigger a noise on demand - not loud like a horn but more like a bicycle bell. Or better still, if the car detected when pedestrians were ahead and triggered the right volume of noise in the right direction at the right time to alert them...

    I could be wrong, but I believe US cars imported into the EU are already subject to a 10% tariff. So if the UK leaves the EU, as long as Tesla can ship direct to the UK, the 10% WTO tariff will be no worse than at present. WTO rules will of course impact any cars from the continent that...

    7kw charger limit

    7kW is about 32A on single phase which is a common MCB rating and keeps cable sizing under control. Also a lot of components in the charger probably start to get more expensive beyond 32A. Certainly higher currents are possible but that does require more expensive components and cables.
