In the “Autopilot” menu towards the bottom you can turn TACC off.

The fix is to select TACC Off in the menu. Cruises like a normal car then.

Sometimes there are also time limitations to get a repair. Not good advertising when you can’t get into service for weeks. Slow roll may work to avoid lemon laws in some places though.
