Getting Dinged on Safety Score for Parking in my Garage?

The Safety Score is BS if you live in a city or densely populated area. I went out today and drove very safe, but in two instances other drivers pulled in front of me and I had to brake hard. One day I got a 6. A 6! I haven't had an accident in 30+ years and drive safely always, but the...

Model 3 Tires, Tire Sizes, Types, make / model recommendations, tire discussions, etc

Hi Klaus, Sorry for the delay, took a while to get pics. As can be seen in the attached photo, the control arm has fair spacing from the tire. The tires are Michelin PS4. Regards, Tom

Another 3rd Party Boost Box being released

Agreed. For me, it points to the fact that more power can be realized with the existing battery and motors. Not interested in range! :) Would like Tesla to add some power and launch mode to our M3Ps.

No rubbing. I put the wheels on with no spacers and lowered the car about 1.5" with variable-rate springs, do not rub even in heavy corners. Added wheel spacers (20mm back, 15mm front) and still have no rubbing or clearance issues.

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

Thanks. Gunmetal gray. I also did a chrome delete that matches the wheels. Subtle but works. I have spacers on front (15mm) and back (20mm), but may drop the front spacers to 10mm. I like the wheels to come out even with the fenders but the front may be a bit too much.

    Going from 2018 M3 Dual Motor to 2020 M3P - thoughts?

There is an alternative to coilovers (if you don't want to hardcore race); variable rate springs and thicker swaybars. This has improved my handling 10-fold in the corners but still rides nice for daily driving. I have coilovers on my 300zx and even at the lowest setting, it is not a good...

Another 3rd Party Boost Box being released

So... Manhart performance has a box that gets 550HP out of a M3P. They don't sell the boxes separately (yet) but have an M3P that has been modified, selling for $90K. Have anyone heard of an aftermarket box that can do this for sale? ELON -- give the M3P more POWER and LAUNCH MODE! :) Stock...

Blog Lucid Air Makes Debut, Deliveries Planned for Spring 2021

The Lucid Dream looks like the only near-term available product. and it's north of $150K. The overall message I got from the reveal is 'luxury' and 'miniaturization.' They use the word 'miniaturization' numerous times during the presentation and 'efficiency'. The core info I got was a luxury...
