I just have my SIXTH rim repair by the alloy repair guy that Tampa Service Center uses. Argh! Yes, I have alloy gators... in my garage at home. I just couldn't come to deal with the appearance of them.... and I've been paying a hefty price for this.

Swegman - It was the Marriott Jacksonville. They don't really offer this up - certain shift managers were willing to allow it during certain hours during my stay... You'll need a 30' heavy duty RV extension cable. Or you could just charge a few miles down the road at the shopping center :)

Also note that there has been some concern online that the tabs could lock the unit in place - but are not accessible once installed. If tesla has not modified the design, this requires you to have access to the back side of the device to remove once installed... which is not possible on CB...

Mine is on 24/7. No worries about battery drain, Johan, as the 12v is supported by the big battery pack... I leave the Wifi off as I noticed my phone would jump on and then lose TCP commo... Mine is running really hot as well... and needs an occasional hard boot as it becomes unresponsive...

They must have dropped prices. Mr. Electric quoted me $970 to install the HPWC AT my electrical box. I went with another organization in Tampa for a few hundred less (and ended up mounting it 10 feet away from the box)... "Small Jobs Electric"
