    Mud flaps & Model Y

Yup! Sure is. We did just swap out and put 20” on there, but I don’t think it will make a difference. Really hoping some body color flaps will come soon enough.

    Mud flaps & Model Y

Ours is just like this but with white paint. I was shocked. Definitely need some more choices for the MY.

Traveling by Supercharger can be more expensive than ICE

We live in a high rise with an old board of directors that like to keep 10m in the bank for "just in case" and are behind on the times. The good news is there are about 4 Teslas in the garage now and one of the owners is on the board now and that is his main focus. The SuperCharger is literally...

Traveling by Supercharger can be more expensive than ICE

We do not have home charging, so its SuperCharging all the time when we need to use the Tesla, so for me its the same cost leaving and returning. My argument isn't that it isn't enjoyable to take a trip in the Tesla, sometimes time is money outside of taking time out for charging. My wife and I...

Traveling by Supercharger can be more expensive than ICE

I agree. Any trip more than 500-600 miles is rouger in my Tesla and we take the Volvo. A 9 hour trip turns into 11-11.5 hours in a Tesla. The stops now take up too much time for charging, the SuperCharger costs add up more than gas, and the constant "stay within * speed to make destination" is...

I can get some on Saturday. It’s just the 1 and not too bad. The other was repaired to factory condition. edit: the wife had it on her phone. This is the one that is currently curbed and below that one is the one that was fixed prior.

    New Wheels And Tires

Honestly just got back from a 1200 mile road trip that I did a few months ago. The comfort is noticeable for sure and thoroughly enjoyable. However my range has taken a huge hit. IDK if it’s the aerodynamic of the rims vs new ones or the summer vs snow rated all seasons. My first trip was...

    FS: 21” Uberturbines - Chicago

Let me talk with the wife and I will let you know. Also, to update, before we got them off, the wife curbed another rim. I can have it repaired as well or if you wanted, I can let you know the guy that did the first one.

    Martian wheels

I noticed that you have the Vredestein tires on your Martians. We just put them on our car yesterday. Only have about 50 miles on them so far and in the rain. What do you think about them? How was the noise/efficiency of them?

    New Wheels And Tires

Those look amazing too. We were going back and forth between the two. HF-3 won by a margin, only because we saw them on a M3 in real life. Follow up with a pic after you get them on. Excited to see how they look!

    New Wheels And Tires

Thanks again for the info. We went 20x9.5 +38 in the “deep” wheel cut. I finally got them in and mounted them yesterday. I have to say, they are worth every penny and the fitment was superb. I snapped some quick shots in the driveway but it was raining. I was amazed at how light these were...

    FS: 21” Uberturbines - Chicago

Swapped the rims off the car today at 5400 miles. Ended up using the old TPMS, so want to adjust price. I dont have room to store, so pricing to sell, $2000. I still prefer not to ship but still open if needed.

Vredestein Quatrac Pro 245/35R21 - first all season tire for 21 in rims

I literally just got home after getting them mounted and balanced today. I went with 20” Vossen HF-3 offset +38 and 255/40r20 Quatracs. First initial impression is they are not as responsive to wheel input, however going from he 35mm P-Zeros it was not surprising. After about 20 miles, I forgot...

    FS: 21” Uberturbines - Chicago

Putting this out there for our Uberturbines. We are swapping them out as we need an All-Season tire for our Y in a week or so. I will be selling the 21” rims with tires and TPMS. They have about 5500 miles on them at the moment. 1 rim did have curb rash that was professionally repaired and you...

Vredestein Quatrac Pro 245/35R21 - first all season tire for 21 in rims

We just ordered these for our Y to replace the 21” Performance staggered setup and went down to a 20”. I will report back in a few months when we get some different conditions on them. I agree, hard to find reviews on them and the price is unbeatable!

    New Wheels And Tires

Wow! Looks great. We ended up going with the 9.5 +38 recommended but I know the wife will probably curb a rim. She is on 2 in 2 months of Ubers. I’ll update when I get them in! Thanks for all the pictures and help!

    New Wheels And Tires

So just got off the phone with the Vossen rep and they did recommend 9.5 width and a +38 offset for the car and that would be a perfect setup. I guess this is what I'll end up going with. I just don't want the rim to stick out too far out and sling stuff on the car so we shall see!.
  37. jimmym1981

    New Wheels And Tires

Wow, yeah that looks great. The thing that sucks is that 20" doesn't come with our 114.3 bolt pattern so its either 10" or 9" width for the 20" rims. Such a dilemma for this one. I don't want them sticking out too much more because of possible slinging of debris everywhere. Might go back to the...

    New Wheels And Tires

Hi all. I’m not well versed in aftermarket rims, but we have to get rid of these 21” Übers before the winter comes on our Model Y Performance. My question is, we are looking at a pair of Vossen HF-3 20x9 +38 offset and a 255/40/r20 tires. Is there any reason this rim wouldn’t work? I...

Anyone with the TSportline TSS wheel in SPACE GRAY on a BLUE Model Y?

Does this setup have the tire sticking out more than the rim? We have curbed 2 Ubers and I need a new set for winter driving, just want to make sure a 10" rim and tire provides some protection.
