The kWh reference is the actual battery usage vs the battery range algorithm provided by Tesla. I find that the algorithm doesn't work for me in the cold. Either too low or too high. so I keep my trip meter on my dashboard and it tells me how many Wh I'm using per mile. With an 85 kWh pack...- Kimbal Musk
