BT-connected key uses radio signal TOF (time of flight) interpolation (since it's too fast to use other methods) to calculate the distance between the car and the phone. If the phone gets away and the car is set to lock on that event (there's a setting for walk-away lock or something like that)...

Had a call from Tesla today (missed it, unfortunately), no invoice yet. In the voicemail and followup email they say 9th to 20th December delivery, so I assume it's on Synergy Keelung arriving in Sydney @22 Nov. Hidden VIN: 5YJ3F7EB6LF519011, white LR AWD, Sydney delivery.

7.5 m AFAIK, my boss has a P3D- and got the long version. Not sure if it can be changed, maybe ask them @delivery. BTW, we are in the same VIN range (5190xx), I'm waiting for white LR AWD as well. Also no calls / emails yet.

No calls from Sydney delivery yet... They say in Sydney it might come very close to the actual delivery date.

There's Origin Energy "solar optimiser" plan (NSW) that gives 21c/kWh FIT. It's ~29c/kWh flat price though - no off-peak and no discounts, but for decently sized solar system it pays out. I think this is the maximum FIT available right now. Expecting negative bill coming soon :)
