South Bend is 4th largest city in Indiana, and combined with Mishiwaka and Elkhart, likely #2 or #3 combined metro area. It is WAY underserved. With the exception of the numerous toll road plazas, North Central Indiana is a supercharger desert. We deperately need one in Plymouth at US30/31...

Look at all the Iceholes! Never saw this at other Buc-ees with SC on the side away from the gas pumps.

This way we can still experience the aroma of spilled fuel and walk past the oil staned concrete. Maybe having them here makes it more likely to get trash cans and window squeegee's though.

Was taking that drive from London to Asheville a couple summers ago. Went through Pigeon Forge to that SC (a nice place to take a break and some good restaurants!). Slower route, lots of tourists, but great views and some fun curves through the Smokies!

Contacted Hansshow about new cable. Pointless.

Looks like this is a bust, as construction has started at Illinois Rd. Meijer. So we get another SC on the west side for drivers on I-69, 7 miles south of existing. Too bad for those headed east side of city on bypass or out 30, 24, or 33.

Drove through the parking lot of the new Meijer under construction on Dupont Road on the north side of Ft Wayne today. There are 2 spaces, then a no parking area, then several more spaces on the west end of the parking lot where I suspect CCS and Superchargers will be installed. Power conduits...

This will be great for traveling to Cedar Point and Cleveland when coming from Indiana. It will allow us to avoid diverting to crowded and slow charger in Maumee.

It certainly does. A few weeks ago, I was slowly (less than 15 mph) passing an accident scene, when a police officer stepped out from between two parked cars towards the lane I was in and my Model 3 SLAMMED on the brakes. Tires squeaked and police looked up and over at me, and waved me on.

Rumor is that it will be at Maysville or Illinois Rd Meijer, or possibly at new Meijer being built on Dupont Road. I've been regularly checking Ft. Wayne Electrical permits being issued, and nothing indicating a Supercharger has popped up yet.

Yes, new Meijer going in, but no Permit I can find for new Supercharger at that location, nor the Illinois Road, nor Maysville Rd Meijer.

Superchargers are installed/under construction at the Gene Stratton Porter (Eastbound) and Ernie Pyle (Westbound) travel plazas on the Indiana Toll Road near Howe, IN. Westbound Eastbound

Went to visit my mom for mother's day and came back on I-94 past Portage. Detoured to the Meijer and made a lap around the parking lot. There is no apparent groundbreaking, construction area, nor preparation (fencing) to be seen. Not sure this site deserves a cone just yet, but hopefully soon!!!

Weird, I could receive texts, and have them read to me, but could not respond. The green microphone icon would come up, but no recognition of my speaking, as if the mic were turned off.

I just did a search on the city of Portage site and found nothing that looks like a possible application/permit for a Supercharger near this Meijer. :(
