Good advice. Sold 1/3 of my TSLA late last week to take my original stash off. Then, quite unfortunately, initiated a bear call spread selling june 85 calls and buying june 60 puts to protect the rest of it. Good problem to have but I'm capped out at 85 and likely to get my shares called away...

I'd say 34.50 - 39 is the current range and I'd speculate that once Tesla confirms not only that it is at expected production rates but that it has met the GPM goals they've set, the stock won't move out of that range. Based on earnings release date for 4Q, do we expect a 1Q release sometime...

sucks that low-mid volume stocks can be moved so easily but that's market I guess.

Large blocks of selling this AM. Looks like some technical trades happening as TSLA hit resistance levels. Any other thoughts as to why the stock dropped this AM?

Ah! that's gotta be it! Been so long since I had car capable of this much torque. The last car I had that had this much torque didn't have access to the brakes for TC. Reminds me of the first few times using ABS brakes. Thanks!

Anyone else experienced a left-rear wheel grindy noise when accelerating hard through a left or right hand turn/curve? Sounds like a plastic flap grinding up against the tire or rim. I haven't tried to recreate it at will but I've had this happen to me a few times now and thought I'd ask if...

True, but after the NYT kerfuffle it was probably best that he didn't look like a car salesman. I thought it was fine. SpaceX has a major launch in less than 2 weeks. Kind of made sense that would be the focus.
