Oh okay. Mine was set for a home delivery and I know 2 people with the same configuration, one ordered a day before me and another the same day and both already picked up their vehicles via the service center. I was curious if home deliveries were possibly delayed for some reason.

My SA has been the worst in terms of communication. Can I just call the general line or is the SA the only person that can help?

Yep, cold e-mail based off some list I was on somehow. The weird thing was that I’ve never been to a Tesla show room or contacted them in any way other than my Model 3 order. They seem to be a terribly disorganized company.

I ordered a SR+ on October 15th. I was able to talk to my SA yesterday, October 26th, and he said to expect delivery time to be another 8-10 weeks.

Newbie here so excuse the ignorance, but my RN is 9 digits. Is you’re entire RN just 5 digits or are you looking at the first 5 or last 5?

It sucks that I cannot by a Tesla directly in my state. It’s third party delivery or a 6 hour drive to the nearest service center. I blame my state. However, I also blame Tesla for having so many production issues that they ship less than acceptable brand new vehicles.

I believe Tesla takes the stance of FOB loaded truck for the third party delivery (i.e. the transfer of ownership takes place when the vehicle is placed on the third party carrier). If that’s the case then I don’t believe you can refuse delivery via third party regardless of the issues.
