Your experience sounds nearly exactly like the one I had with the Bellevue, WA service center. The service experience is night and day compared to what it was even just a year ago.

Photos in my post above are other examples of this (from other users who have reported) over the last year as well. It's a pretty widespread issue that really needs to be addressed (especially for those of us who have it persistently).
