When I checked it didn't appear that Tesla had filed any of its published patents in any countries other than the US. For those patents at least the time limit for extending patent protection abroad has expired.

Could be unveiling the European version of the Model S. The first deliveries are supposed to be in July and they take about five weeks by ship, so they may be just starting to come off the line about that time.

While the guaranteed buyback will certainly be attractive to many, the silly numbers game they play to get to $500/mo is borderline contemptable, and beneath what I´ve come to expect from Tesla. Shame.

Yeah, you got a good deal. If they offered that as an option fr 60KW----> 85KW I would have ordered it. Just like with hard disc storage on devices, people tend to buy larger than they need. This way you get to try living with 40KW, but can upgrade if you need more.

The Model S is truly amazing. It updates its software and downgrades its interior features automatically!

This is a very cheesey move. They need to address this properly. I doubt they want to devote the resources to defending a few score small claims law suits.

The CF grain in these photos run from lower left to upper right whcih seems the opposite of the grain in the car, while the photos from the CCI gallery on their website show the grain running upper left to lower right. Did they change the pattern, or is it random?

I had a test drive yesterday at the Oslo store, and asked if they knew what was meant by "prioritizing" deliveries to Norway. They said that it would indeed involve some "sneaking ahead of the line" in terms of reservaion number, but to what extent they didn´t know.

My private spot at work was getting abused by strangers, so I made a nice little "reserved parking" sign with a wooden base and set it in the middle of the spot. Works like a charm. Maybe Tesla, or someone in the area could make a few nice looking signs and stick them there, with a message to MS...

I believe S1 is from Norway, so I think Tesla is pretty safe when they say the first Model S´s will be going to Norway, no matter how they decide to do it. :smile:
