    Reno hotel charger uncertainty?

Thanks for the replies. I like to stay at hotels that have destination chargers. Previously I have stayed at Homewood Suites on 5450 Kietzke Lane. For this trip I have booked myself now at the Hilton Garden Inn at 9920 Double R Blvd. Plugshare says they have a charger, so I'll keep my fingers...

    Reno hotel charger uncertainty?

I have some doubt that a destination charger listed on Tesla's website is really there. 10599 Professional Circle, Reno, Nevada, 89511, Tesla lists this address as a Home2 Suites, but the address is actually a Hampton Inn. I called the Hampton Inn, the young lady at the front desk says she...

Shipping my Model Y to Europe - Lots of questions and concerns!

Thank you for posting this article about moving to Europe with your car. It's something I have been thinking about. My main reason is thriftyness. My base Model 3 is two years old, if I sold it it's probably worth $25k at most, and a new Model 3 in Portugal costs $50k, so I'd rather just bring...

Will US Tesla work in Europe?

I was also thinking after a couple of years I could either A) spend $3,000 to ship my car to NY and trade it in to Tesla, or B) sell it for a reasonable price gray market to a nice guy from Eastern Europe for unmarked bills....

Will US Tesla work in Europe?

my car is worth $30,000 in the US. I don't mind paying for some tail lights and a CCS port. A new Model 3 in Portugal will cost €48,000. So seriously, if I can get the charge port and tail lights converted for $10,000 I will be happy. I plan to keep this car for five years. I think the map...

Will US Tesla work in Europe?

Sorry to jump on this thread. I own a Model 3 which I love. I am planning to retire to Portugal in six months, and I would like to take my car with me. It's primarily financial, my car cost be about $30k, and a Model 3 in Portugal cost US $60k. My question is: is there any service in Europe...

How will Tesla make their next-gen sedan even cheaper?

    1. If they made a $25,000 car I would buy one for my girlfriend who has an older Leaf. 2. I suspect the limiting factor is they need to time to make more factories and batteries to do this.

Home Charging Question on Using Electric Dryer Outlet 10-30A

I have a 32 amp Nema 14-30 dryer outlet in my garage. I also didn't want to plug and unplug my car and dryer all the time, so I bought this splitter on Amazon for $69. Parkworld 88603 NEMA 14-30 Splitter. It works like a champ.

How to stop door handles from getting so hot?

I'm a new Model 3 owner. Love the car. On a sunny day the door handles sure get hot! If I apply some carbon fiber vinyl wrap on them will that help keep them from burning my hands? Don't need carbon fiber, that just seems to be the popular / available door handle wrap.
