Tesla service advised me they are aware of the problem and it will be fixed in a future update.

2022.44.25.5 has finally fixed this error for me.

They told me it’s a known issue that will be corrected with an OTA software/firmware update 😩 I’ve had two updates since this problem started but no fix yet.

Confirmed with service today. It’s a know software bug they are aware of it and are working on a fix. When the fix is developed they will send out an update to correct the issue.

That’s what mine does. But it will randomly appear and stay lit until I park for a short time. It usually appears right when I get in the car then it immediately disappears and later in the drive it will reappear and stay until I park and go back at some point

It worked incredible then was broken with an update. Probably low priority got pushed to the back of the line a recent update has apparently addressed the issue. If you own a smart phone you can relate. There are times that Apple releases have to be patched with an update for messing up...

That’s great news. I’m in the FSD beta group so I’m currently on 2021.36.8.5 no artwork on that version hopefully I get it on the next update.

Yes. Too dangerous to use in my neighborhood. The strange thing is that when I turn off the FSD beta the car properly lines up to the right. Give it a try. But of course it won’t steer but will only keep your speed.

Just drove on the lastest FSD software (.3) for me and no FCW’s or phantom braking on my first drive. 🙏

It’s dangerous. I had it and had a car been behind me I’d been rear ended. Had 6 FCW’s and multiple phantom brakings.

Well apparently your safety score is still being monitored although it doesn’t appear on the app. I just downloaded .1 and it removed my FSD and my Safety Score reappeared and dropped from 99 to 97 thanks to 6 fake FCW’s while on the beta. So I decided to opt out. Not worth the aggravation...

I had 6 FCW’s not even on the interstate. I also had 1 phantom brake incident. It want a to stop when it sees a red light in a far left turning lane even though I’m in the far right lane. Worried about someone rear ending me.

I didn’t have an of those issues. 2020 Model 3 just drove around parked drove again for an hour or so. Still have AP if I want to switch back.

Should that happen when you get a chance pull over and completely power off the vehicle while unplugged. According to what I’ve read that’s currently the only way to get it back until they fix the bug.

Got it! Actual 98.59% (rounded up to 99%) 950 miles. Been in the program since day 1. No resets. Had 3 fake FCW’s in the first week. Managed to overcome those any without resetting or opting out then in. 2020 Model 3
