CCS retrofit service center availability for 2018 Model S?

I just had my Model S retrofitted yesterday with CCS upgrade. But discovered it didn't work at the Tesla supercharger - so I suspect they did something wrong. Anyone else have the retrofit with this bug? Service is looking into the problem.

CCS Retrofit Cost for [Model S and X only, at this time - Feb 2023]

I got my retrofit for 2015 Model S 90D as part of annual maintenance work - total cost (including the annual maintenance, retrofit, and adapter) was $620 which seemed like quite a good deal.

    Cracked forelink?

Be sure to report it to the NHTSA via their online report form. If enough people report, they may force Tesla to recall or reimburse customers. I have 2015 90D and the front forelink failed at 77k miles.

Fore link suspension failure while driving on the freeway

I had the same issue and they also refused to pay (cost me $1,700 to fix). Filed a complaint with NHTSA. More people need to file complaints and NHTSA may take some action.

    Cracked forelink?

I was charged full price (over $1,600). My 2015 S 90D had over 50,000 miles on it so it was not covered by warranty.

    Losing enthusiasm for Model 3

We got our Model 3 last month - it is a nice car (although $51,000 for a rear wheel drive only car is not what I expected when I signed up in March 2016). Quality control is also a concern, as we had two issues already - Tesla takes care of them, but still can be a pain...

    Updated Supercharger Rates

Colorado rate went from 13 cents to 22 cents per kWh - that's much more than our local electric company charges (about 13 cents). So they are apparently adding some overhead costs in the price now...
